I'm not butthurt about anything, all I was trying to do by stating what I did was to make some people really think before they put some of their silliness out there(im sure you would admitt that some of the statements on here are abit ridiculous). So I don't know why you got so defensive, sorry I couldn't call individuals out by name bc there are quite a few...I'm not gonna argue over the Internet, the only thing I was trying to instigate was for some to remember that they weren't there, regardless of how sure they are of their opinions....that's all.
My last post actually makes me sound butthurt. lol

I was just sticking up for those who want to voice their opinions. No one gets to tell anyone not to-that's what this place is for. For example, I don't want to hear about how Shayna is a victim too but I don't tell people not to say it.(I just point out why they are misguided. And crazy.;))

She said she waited. Neighbors testified they heard the shots.
Why would she say she waited if she had Real motive to hide? Don't get me wrong, this whole affair seems too bizarre to even have occurred. This girl is smart enough to graduate from UK with honors, especially honors with Biology, one of U.K.s most difficult programs. Yet, she was dumb enough to continue to date a man in a tumultuous relationship. It sounds like she is incredibly smart in one way: yet, substantially inadequate socially. I know this girl attended gifted classes in middle school, one has to test within the upper twp percent to be in these programs. Even in a state of frenzy, I can't see her telling the police she waited fifteen minutes to call them if she even semi had preplanned to murder him.
Please note that I am not making excuses for killing this man. It seems like she could have just run for the door and left in the heat of argument before pulling a trigger.

You would be surprised at how many smart and talented women can be extremely dumb when it comes to men. Now as far as her being dumb about what is being said she told police.. I don't know....Who knows what frame of mind she was in at the time.

I have no idea why she said she waited. I guess because she did wait. I find it so bizarre to shoot a human in the face and then shoot it again multiple times to "put it out of it's misery" that from there, I'm just more lost as to all of it.

So much of this speculation is about where the victim was shot. If indeed he was shot in the face, how do we know the degree of his injuries? By most accounts here, the suspect has been portrayed as a compulsive liar. Perhaps her first shot merely grazed his face, maddening him, shifting him into overdrive and pushing him forward to the fight of his life. She, seeing his physical strength and determination, unloaded.
Have you ever seen a person fight for their life? Brute force and adrenaline coupled with the shear will to live will give you a superhuman strength in those last moments.
Godspeed to the victim. May those last minutes haunt her every breath.

I've been biting my tongue on this forum for 3 days (some call it lurking) because I do not want to speculate, nor do I want to get summonsed, because like many on here I have my own, and to me, bone-chilling Shayna yarn to spin. But you, sir, ma'am, other person who I likely do not know, seem to know the score and I applaud.

He was laying on the floor "twitching" when the round of shots that killed him were fired. She shared that with the police.

Amen to that. Whatever BS the defense uses to justify her taking this young man's life, she will go to bed every night knowing the truth. This is assuming this sociopath is even capable of having a guilty conscience...

She should have probably never shot him, my speculation is that it wasn't self defense. Say you had to shoot someone or something you love or care about. I bet the first shot was a terrible mistake and the next couple were in the heat of the moment not wanting him to suffer from her first rash decision. This is all assuming the first shot was a fatal wound. I can kind of in a twisted way understand the second shots, but no one but her can understand the first.

I think if I were "forced" to shoot someone I was in love with and had been in an ongoing relationship with for quite some time, I would be thinking more about "if I do this I will never see this person again" than "oh he must be in such pain, let me put him out of his misery instead of calling an ambulance to see if the damage I've done is reparable." Seems to me she wanted to off the only other person in the room who could testify against her.

the first shot happened, go ahead and move past that no matter how wrong she was in the decision. I'm referring to how crazy the second shots were.

take a poll, if you got shot in the face (mortally wounded) would you rather lay there for who knows how long in pain and agony or be put out of your misery?

There won't be speculation much longer. For starters by tomorrow everyone will know a little more regarding the high bail.

Well being as attractive as Ryan was I would be pretty pissed off that someone shot my flawless face, but after the fact, I think no matter how painful the experience was, if there was any chance at surviving I would rather endure the pain with a possibility of living out the remainder of my life. Everyone acting like she did him a favor by "putting him out of his misery" ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

I'll take " putting him out of his misery " is code for "getting rid of the witness who can testify I lost my shit when he told me to get lost (again)" said Shayna for 100$ Alex....

In the world of social media some of her supporters are claiming that quote is being taken out of context.... I wonder how in the world those words can be favorable in this scenario.

Anyone who has studied criminology knows that people who kill someone that they know (a friend, loved one, acquaintance) don't shoot the victim in the face. Most people cannot look hat person in the eye and shoot them. People who kill people they know udo it when the person is not looking because they are too coward to see that persons face when they die. THIS WOMAN SHOT THE GUY IN THE FACE, WATCHED HIM SQUIRM FOR A FEW SECONDS AND SHOT HIM AGAIN. Obviously she has mental problems
Wrong, you are oh so right.

No, I personally think I would rather that the person who shot in "self defense" call 9-1-1 instead of continuing to shoot me repeatedly in multiple locations.

SHE told police she shot him in the face, and when he fell and was shaking, she fired at him again "to put him out of his misery." After years of studying murderers, that is the first time I have ever heard any psycho say that! It brings evil and depraved to a whole new level.
Again, agreed and seriously have chills. Being in her presence was beyond uncomfortable.

<quoted text>From reading this forum to say that Shayna stretched the truth is a huge understatement. Do we know for a fact she graduated? If so why have the news outlets found no confirmation to this claim? I know two lives and families were ruined but people who claimed to know her should have taken steps to get her the help she so greatly needed. So tragic on all counts.
Yes, she graduated. I have pics of her at graduation, and she did walk.

100% correct. She was working in her master's in Mental Health Counseling.

'Wounded healer'... Couldn't find her own inner peace, so she sought to make 'everyone else ok?' Baffling.
