Buy Here Pay Here lots have had their bad rep for decades. They are usually very sleazy and prey on poor people. One time a year a poor family with a bunch of kids ends up with a nice income tax return. They go to the lot and pay down $2000 or more. The amount is usually whatever the lot paid for the car. So when you give them a down payment, you just paid for the car. But you continue to pay thousands more to own it. Yes, its an unethical racket. But the worst part is that they end up with previous rentals or some other worn out lemon. People tend to be materialistic these days and if it looks good it must be good. NOT. I know a lot about mechanics and have personally looked cars over on some of those lots. Many problems were present. But they never bothered to mention it. When asked about them, they would make verbal promises they couldn't keep.

Stay away those lots unless you're asking for a rip off.

Everyone who seems to have a problem with this place just can't pay their bill. Lol. Why don't you just get a real paying job and actually pay for the car? Or, you could actually care about what's called a credit score. A good credit score allows you to take out a loan to pay for the car. Only problem, you dumbasses probably can't pay off the loan. So the best suggestion...save your bull shit welfare checks and buy it straight up...

Well i can tell you one i DO have a CASE against them because i got a truck from them about three months ago and the information center does not work which means i dont know how many miles are on it and they didnt know either but they sold it anyway and LIED to me and said they would order a new information center and put it in but have not did so and BY LAW THEY CAN NOT SALE ANY CAR WITHOUT A ODOMETER READING that is federal law so i can and will file a law suit against Mr.Travis he SCREWS everybody that walks in that place you know some people just has a bad luck sometimes and then Mr travis takes advantage of them omg how does he sleep at night hes a RAT and a LIAR

If YOU buy here you WILL be taken one WAY or the other. You have been forewarned.
Here's how to avoid buy-here-pay-here:
Take the same money you WILL lose to those crooks and make payments to your savings account. Let it draw interest while you ride Lextran. When you have $1000 to $2000 go to the KASP auction and buy a decent car, the same type cars you see on dulaney's lot. It will be PAID for and you will SAVE $4000 to $6000 on comparable cars!

Oh, the ignorance. Only some of the Hispanics in Lex are from Mexico, and many Mexicans are here legally. We have Latinos from every country in Central and South American living here, many legally.

Get over it. Your ancestors and mine came from somewhere else, and that is true even if you are Native American.

I recommend Key Auto. I have bought several vehicles from them, never been screwed, they have worked with me when I had to be late. I've never got a bad car or lemon from them. Easy to work with, and nice people. They will let your mechanic check the car first, too. And none of them act like a smart *ss or have a chip on their shoulder, either.

Also, some of us really do have no choice if we want a car. I used to buy a new car every two or three years, used to live in a nearly 4,000 sq ft home. Divorce, and illness resulting in disability means I am now living below the poverty line. So, yeah, if I want a car, I have to go to a buy here pay here. I know the interest rates are outrageous, but if I'm going to pay them, I'd rather pay to people who treat me with respect and dignity.

Yeah so some people cant help their credit score. Also some people might not have a job that pays enough. Why don't you quit being a jerk off and keep your mouth shut.

My husband and I purchased a vehicle from them drove it less than a mile numerous things went wrong. We took it immediately back they told me we bought it as is. Travis is an asshole and bob is a liar. They supposedly fixed the problem so we drove it home and had no turn signals and a short in the fuse box. After threatening to sue and whip Travis ass they traded it for a bigger junk at that point I just paid for it. They ran my debit card every sat and one payment 2 days late came and got it. All because they don't know how to type the money was sitting right there. I will see them in court and own north broadway oops... No thanks I couuldnt screw someone that way. Jerry Delany a good christian man I sure wouldn't want to be there when he goes to hell.

My mom bought a car from there and it has been nothing but trouble .. Both head gaskets were blown and my fiance is a mechanic and fixed it and when he was replacing the gaskets he found lots of sawdust inside the motor .. They doctored it so that it wouldn't knock !!

Nothing but junk I mean you would find better quality of a car in a junk yard. Please do not go to north junk way the cars are not checked out at all. They tell you they take them over to Ss tire but they don't not at all. I will never I mean never buy a car from them again. I'm a honest hard working woman and would be willing to pay for a car if it was worth it but it's not. It really makes me mad that this car lot would do this to people who fall hard on economic times. I may not have the best credit because of poor choices in the past but that still shouldnt mean I have to be screwed over by north broadway. To be quite frank I wish they would come get the piece of junk one less thing I have to worry about. I wish i would have came here to topix before purchasing a vechicle through these dishonest, misleading individuals. Please take my advice and don't buy from these people honestly your better off just not owning a car if you have to go there to buy.
