(It wasn't just Clinton and the Democrats....)

Nixon, Sinatra and the Mafia
by Don Fulsom

Both Nixon and Sinatra had deep ties to the Mafia. It was only natural that after President John Kennedy dumped Sinatra that Ole Blue Eyes hooked up with the biggest politician in the Mob’s pocket. Sinatra hung around with Nixon and Vice President Agnew so much he even acquired a Secret Service code name,“Napoleon.”

John Kennedy banished Frank Sinatra from Camelot when the singer’s Mafia ties clashed with the President’s crackdown on organized crime. But those well-documented ties didn’t keep President Richard Nixon—a big recipient of Mob payoffs—from wooing the popular crooner away from the Democratic Party.........

Your logic is idiotic, just like all your other rantings....

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Gulf of Mexico (Spanish: Golfo de México) is a partially landlocked[1] ocean basin largely surrounded by the North American continent and the island of Cuba.[2] It is bounded on the northeast, north and northwest by the Gulf Coast of the United States, on the southwest and south by Mexico, and on the southeast by Cuba. The shape of its basin is roughly oval and is approximately 810 nautical miles (1,500 km) wide and filled with sedimentary rocks and debris. It is part of the Atlantic Ocean and is connected to it through the Florida Straits between the U.S. and Cuba, and with the Caribbean Sea (with which it forms the American Mediterranean Sea) via the Yucatan Channel between Mexico and Cuba.

Yeah, and the "Mobsters Rackets" included the Gulf Oil Spill Cleanup with BP.

BP used to be Gulf Oil Company.

The Contracts to clean up the oil spill went to all the Mobsters and the lawyering went to all the Mob Lawyers!

The staffing racket was so bad they took US Citizens VALID ID's without hiring them and passed them on to ILLEGALS!!!

Ever heard of AEROTECH?

<quoted text>I have a few questions about the parent's illegal search. Do the parents have a different house number or are both homes that were built on the property have the same address? Are both homes in the parents names, that is what it looks like? The property which was purchased in '92 had the smaller home already built on it? The smaller home obviously has had improvements and the larger home is extravagant for the area. The deed says the purchase price was around 30K. Doesn't it appear that there was a drastic change in income? I have heard there was more to the case, that the two sons and grandson may have made mistakes, but weren't guilty of what they were charged. Where is the proof?
Answers to your questions:

Yes, the parents have a different house number than the two-story home.
Yes, both homes are on the 28 acre plot that Vernon & Juanita Smith own
Vernon Smith's home was built after purchase of the property (somewhere around 1992-1993)
When this land was purchased there was nothing but weeds.
Vernon Smith and his 3 sons did the labor in building the homes.
You describe the 2nd home "extravagant for the area" have you driven down this street? Seen the property directly across the street?
The $31,500 purchase price was for the land without ANY improvements This parcel of land was purchased when it's only access was a dirt road. Smith was the first to build on this road, I"m told.

Anonymous, why do you just post from the book? I find this fourm amusing. I saw a news show about it so I looked it up only to find this. Yes, there are a couple of people that seem to know a bit & yes I'm wondering who they are. And most are posting straight out of their ass... We had fun, made some money but for the most part our lives became a disaster. Most of us ended up dead or in jail. Others ended up strung out on something trying to get that rush again. Then there were some and more than a few that turned rat on the rest of us. Its funny how the rats were never mentioned in the book. Even in the last post about Mike, Bonnie & Henry there was a rat that played a key part that wasn't mentioned. I think it was a Barry or Mike D. some junkie. I'm beginning to ramble Anyway, have fun with the posts I'm sure I'm gonna keep reading.

There is one guy, an ex-cop who rarely gets mentioned. He also is a pilot and was involved with hiding the China Lake guns. So how did Steve Oliver remain for the most part, unscathed? Someone, who I definately believe, says Oliver knows what happened to Malanie Flynn. This person overeard a discussion about Melanie between Steve Oliver and Bill Canan.

Each year marijuana brings more than $4 billion illegal dollars to the state of Kentucky. Because it is illegal, that money goes into criminal pockets, funds criminal trafficking networks and criminal politicians and sheriffs protect the operations. There is no serious movement to eradicate it from Kentucky or Tennessee who produces about the same amount. Kentucky depends on the illegal revenue which, unfortunately, enriches and promotes criminals. It is no different than any other country that depends on illegal drugs as its main cash crop. Overall the United States has a $40 billion non-taxable criminal-marijuana-production- and-trafficking-network. It is time to think seriously about legalization, or else endure the criminal networks and the cost of random prosecutions.

What ever became of another drug murder and another major bust in Lexington in around 83...Tom McCoy was shot and killed on Standish Way and police recovered a "blue box" air to ground radio that they subsequently tracked an incoming aircraft with 600+ lbs of pot. David Caldwell (pilot) and McCoy were tied to BGC, and Drew Thornton had been to the Standish Way home on several occasions. Anybody know what happened to all the players?

I thought the bust was before the murder. McCoy was murdered and a search of his home showed he was involved with the people that smuggled the marijuana from Belize in a stolen plane. An informant is what led police to the bust on Russell Cave Road when they found the 600 lbs of pot.

The man (McCoy) that was murdered was from Pike County and he was in the coal business. I don't believe the case was ever solved. The last person McCoy was seen with supposedly fled to Canada and the trail went cold.

<quoted text>
There was a guy arrested in the murder, who "hung himself" in jail the next day, and the case was closed. Nothing ever said about it afterward, and I wondered if it was maybe a setup with McCoy going into the WPP. Tom was in the coal business but it was nothing more than a Maryland corporation, and listed no sales nor assets.
You're right; I had the timeline wrong on the bust and the murder. I don't think they were related, although the two (McCoy and Caldwell) knew each other. I'm know that the guy who ultimately set that organization up was an insider who turned for reportedly $25K, and was in Belize at the time of the bust. FYI, the plane was NOT stolen, but they had no documentation of that, and to produce witnesses would have brought another indictment under RICO and conspiracy charges. Ultimately, that witness did not come forward, since no documentation existed in his possession. He was instructed by his attorney the testimony could be construed as heresay, and the only thing to come of it would be a 15 yr. charge.
I didn't know if Caldwell had returned to Lexington after his sentence ended or not.

There are a lot of Belize connections in Kentucky. It's where they believe Johnny Boone might be hiding. Wealthy Ky businessman Larry Addington owns an island and resort there. And there are connections to there and the annual Terrapin Hill Farm music festival - probably many more.

There are people who believe it's still going on, and have been touched by it. Some people don't believe the Bluegrass Conspiracy consisted of activities over a brief period of time in only Kentucky, but that it was a group of people who spanned states connecting a larger organization, that was and still well may be connected to serious criminal and corrupt political organizations. "The same people who ran the Bluegrass Conspiracy back then, are still running it today," has been said more than once. And Bryant's business was a front for Genovese family associate, Biff Halloran, Genovese being the most powerful of all the NY crime families. So in whatever it was and whatever "loose group" of people involved, the "REAL" mafia was also involved. Anybody seen Mr. Cement, Biff Halloran lately? JYB and Chandler hooked him up with Bryant, according to the book. He disappeared in 1998....maybe he went to Thailand or Belize for a vacation?

The question is this: Is it true it's still alive, and being run by the same people? The answer is this: "People and families who are still in power, in business, and/or alive today, were involved back then and know exactly what happened to Melanie Flynn and the others." And they'll take the truth about these victims to the dark, lonely grave where money and power will be of no use.
