I have read alot about this "Conspiracy" over the years. I used to live in Lex and some of the other surrounding towns. I too became interested in this story after reading the book. I tried to do some research on my own with some small success. I have yet to find out the location of Drew's Triad farm in Jessamine county. Suppose to be on the river with high cliffs surrounding it. I tried to find out the address of the "Library" and could not find it. I think Thornton owned a home on Kenilworth in Lex. Anyone who would like to correspond with me on this topic would be welcome.

the Library Lounge was on Woodland next to where Lynah's is now. It was a club 54 wannabe back then. The area you are describing are the Palisades down on the river at the 68 bridge. They started to build their mansions and then ran out of money when the boom was lowered. They all deserved prison time not just Canaan,. I'm surprised he's still alive with all the shit he had his fingers in. Melanie Flynn's death being one of them and the congressman the other.

The Library Lounge was on Euclid Avenue not Woodland. Near or at the same spot as the Blue Moon later on.

How about Bonnie Gee Kelly? The girl from Olive Hill - from a poor family of 12 kids. She took the rap for how many? Still in federal prison. Went to prison and her husband married her sister. Then didn't he die?

Can someone give me an update from how the book ended?? The book left Bradley Bryant in jail in Illinois, and awaiting trial on the China Lake (California) charges. Can anyone tell me what happened after that point? Convicted again? Still serving time? Out now? Still alive? Where is he?
I would appreciate hearing from anyone with answers to my questions - either posted here, or emailed to me at [email protected]
Thanks.

I heard Bryant did his time in prison. He got out and settled down in the Savannah Ga. area. What about Bizzack? He was in the shadows lurking and is now a player in the state justice dept. Man! Talk about irony!

Bizzack was a dick who should still be locked up to protect the rest of the population.

I remember Drew from when I was a child and I was always fascinated by him because he was a really intelligent, interesting person. I still consider his unfortunate accident a tragedy because I only have good memories of him. I liked going to Jessamine County and him allowing me to run wild on the property. Growing up in Lexington this was the only time that I got to play in open spaces. We got to know Drew when my Dad became his Physician and he was very generous in inviting us to the farm among other places. His nickname for me was "Hotrod" because I was always hyper as a kid and speeding around. I remember him telling me when I was just 5 or 6 that when I could see over the instrument panel that he would teach me to fly my own plane. I just wish other people could have seen the side of him that I remember because he left an impression on me and I will never forget him. R.I.P. Andrew Thornton.

Doctor Donald "Duck" Leroy Leach is mentioned in the book. He finished his dirty dealing working at the Fayette County Detention Center stealing the tax payers money, till he got busted. Oh ya, he spent the last days on the job scratching Doctor off his business card with a penny.

I just wanted to clarify that the Doctor that "hedgehog" is refering to ( Doctor Donald "Duck" Leroy Leach ) is not the same physycian I was refering to in my post. My Father was a Physycian but not the one this guy is talking about. My Father that was Drew's Doctor passed away in the mid 1980's from an brain aneurism.
