I am due in Dec to deliver at st. joe east. I was wanting to see if those who had their babies there liked it.

Ashley, I had an absolutely wonderful experience there! Ive had one at Central Baptist and one there and if I have another, I will go back there. The nurses are attentive and friendly. When I labored, I was able to choose exactly how I wanted to do so. No complaints!

I spent over almost two months there before I delivered and had a good experience with all the staff. I had the most wonderful doctor too.Great care hands down.

They were wonderful when I had my son there... the rooms are huge, and they gave several options... showers, guest couch/bed thingy, etc. I spent a lot of time with my son in NICU and they were very patient with us

I had my son at St Joseph East last December and loved the experience of not have a room full of interns there when your having your baby much more family friendly. I had my daughter at Uk. in 2000 and it was a lot different.

Also, what are the odds that I am going to get a room with a jacuzzi tub? That would be really nice to have.

we have two rooms in labor hall that have the tubs. I would suggest you ask for them when you come into labor hall!!!! If they dont already have pts in them they will make sure you get what you want!!!

I didn't see an obgyn, but instead used a midwife. I chose Noel Juett from Associates For Womens Care and she was great!

I'm pregnant with my first child and going to Patty-a-Clay hospital but I'm having second thoughts due to some very unpleasant stories, if I swtich I'm highly considering SJE.

I was being seen at PAC, I switched very late in my pregnancy. I liked the doctors at PAC, but the hospital is just nasty when I went in for my tour. We stood for 20 minutes waiting for a nurse when we came off the elevator, not much sense of security. Rooms are very small and some nursing staff was rude. I have switched to SJE, my new high risk OB is at Central Baptist but delivers at both hospitals, and Ive chose to deliver at SJE. My new OB had more care as to tests that were done before she would do my c-section. PAC, I kept telling my doctor I was sick and they just blew me off, I knew it was time for a change. Also, PAC will not allow children (if you have any or family members) under the age 18 to be there with you. Only way someone under 18 can be there is if they are in labor themselves. Wishing you the best in your future with a new little one!

My granddaughter was born there in November and it was awesome! At one point we had whole family in the room prior to delivery and the staff wasn't freaking out, lol

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Aries

Your boredom threshold is lower than usual this today so don't be surprised if you start to feel restless. Ideally, you should alter your usual routine and do something totally different, because that will certainly keep you interested in what's going on around you. Watch out if you decide to spend money because you might part with a lot more than you intended.
