To "I think" thanks for your kind words
You're welcome!
In my opinion if she's talking about her relationship in front of your daughter, then your daughter would probably think that it's o.k. to cheat. That's not a very good role model for her. Also, I would think that it would cause trust issues in your marriage.
I hope everything works out for the best for you and your family.
I hadn't thought of it before, but now everyone has me very curious,
can you at least give his initials, because I sure hope this isn't my man?!

It is a free country, for now. What she does is her business. It is between her, her husband and the other. She does not have to justify herself to you or anyone else.

On the other hand, you are free to disassociate from her as well. In my opinion, you either need to accept your friend as she is, or go your own way.

Love triangles usually get people killed and if you are a important person who has a career and if you are cheating with a married man it will end up on Lex 18 news. SO I would stop now because eventually you will get caught. If you can scoop that low to let a married man treat you that way then you better hope you dont get in some serious trouble because chances you will. Shame on you seperating mommy's and daddy's from their children.

I just moved here from Georgia and I work for a hospital in Lexington. I see people all the time not saying names dating married men and they dont think about the trouble it will cause for them.

I will miss my friend but need to protect my family.
Sarah, don't tell us you are a nurse at the university.
And yes it is terrible to think of the children involved.
Thanks to all for the positive comments in support of "family."

A friend has been seeing a married man for two years. Am I wrong to stop talking to her because of this. I have talked to her about breaking it off with him. I am trying to surround my family and myself with positive people with good character and morals.
I know people don't care about morals and marital vows like they used to but don't you think the wife deserves to know? So she can make the decision to stay or go? Your friend may not be his only affair. It's so disrespectful on all sides, if it was my husband I would want someone to tell me. No matter how much it hurt, being a fool and living a lie would be worse in my opinion.

I totally agree! I do wish she would at least post initials, because I sure would want to know if it was my husband! It baffles me to no end how a husband can cheat and then go home and get into bed with his wife and act like nothing is wrong, and vice versa! A lot of and's there, but you get my point!
