What happened to Mary Jane on the ZRock 103.3 morning show? She isn't on there any more and I didn't get to hear the reason why she left.

I've been wondering the same thing! I've checked all the websites, myspaces, and there's no longer any mention of her. Did she get laidoff in the Cumulus budget cuts or fired? It isn't the same without her!

Everytime they lose someone, they never speak of it or them again, weird management they have! Craptastic Cumulus.

Cumulus failed because they don't support the community. They are a corporation and behave as such. They never play local artists unless there is money involved. The same goes for shows. Unless they are a "sponsor", they act like there is nothing going on in town. Screw them.

As far as "Mary Jane" goes, I'm sorry she lost her job, but she should expect as much when she decided to work for Cumlubeast.

I've been listening to this station for years, but I'm getting to the point where I won't anymore! First they dropped Scott Hammer, and now apparently MJ - I think these two were two of their best djs, others may disagree. The guy who replaced Hammer is terrible, I won't listen in the afternoons anymore, and since MJ has left, the morning show just isn't funny anymore.

She was a casualty of the Cumulus budget cuts...she was back on there today however...

They were on vacation all week, so those were prerecorded bits with MJ being played all week. We'll see if she's really back when the show is live again next week. It's really crappy of Cumulus if they fired her and then played parts of her previous shows. If she's gone, I'm switching to another station.

What other station Mimi??!?! Theres nothing left to listen to around here. We listeners need to get a petition together. Some of us don't like country or rap (aka crap) so what are we supposed to listen to?!

I have to agree with you there. Maybe it's time for me to invest in satellite radio!

I think you're all right in she was laid off in the cumulus cuts. They also let dillon go, the s**** replacement for hammer, i agree with that one, but the morning show isn't right without her.

I am soo dissapointed in the fact that MJ is gone. I have listened to the morning show for years, and can't understand why they want to screw up a good thing. MJ you are greatly missed!!

I e-mailed Twitch and he said "she had to be cut for downsizingbut he talks to her every day and she is now focusing on her school to become a teacher" and she will be missed by all!

I think the show pretty much stinks now. She added something to the show the others just can't do. Cumulus showed what they are really like without even making a mention of what happened. Its a shame

The last person they ever announced that was leaving the station was Phish 2 and a half years ago. They are stupid for cutting their good dj's. Scott Hammer was good and so was Mary Jane. Mary Jane will be missed and hopefully they will regret their decision to cut her. Even if she were to get re-offered the job when Cumulcunt realizes they were retards for letting her go when their ratings start going down the drain I don't think I would take the job back. Zrock sucks enough because they play the same crap over and over and over and hardly anything new or different but what they did with Mary Jane was just shooting themselves in the foot a few more times. Twitch is the only good dj left but still the show isn't right without Mary Jane. She help make Twitch and the morning show worth listening to. I didn't listen to station much before because of the music always being the same but now with her gone I hardly even flip the dial to it. No offense to ya Twitch but now that you are on your own the old 103.3 before Cumulus took over was great. Maybe it is time to get satellite radio. All the radio stations around here now are officially crap!!!!

I agree, and I've stopped listening as well. MJ leaving has pretty much sucked the life out of the morning show, and that was the only time I wanted to listen to Zrock! I want to get people together and start writing the station, but I don't think it would do any good.

It stinks that they let MJ go. They are really the only morning show I could stomach.

As far as radio formats go in Lexington, every station shares the same 40-song playlist, it seems.....
