Just today Dr. Tibbs operated on my sister for spinal stenois. She has had severe problems since 2002 and it kept getting worse. Two fractures that she knew nothing about and alot of nerve damage. After several hours she is awake and the doctor said that her surgury went great. I will keep you updated on her progress. He has a great bedside mannor and really explains everything to the family. WONDERFUL DOCTOR SO FAR.

Go elsewhere! Make sure he signs in writing that
he's doing the surgery, and not a resident. Some surgeons who have access to residents let the resident do the surgery, the surgeon get the pay!
CB has two very well known back surgeons. Bill Brooks is one.

i hurt my back two years ago in a car wreck at work.i received three bulged disc in return.i continued working and didnt get the proper treatment then, workers comp dragged there feet.this april i was working and hurt my back again.this time its put me down for a while.i have seen dr.harry lockstadt and he wants to do a procedure called raiofrequency lesioning.it sounds risky plus your a wake.my L5 disc is herniated and i have a slight tear in the nerve.dr lockstadt said due to my size surgery is to much of a risk,so i wanted a second opion. i was referred to dr.phillip tibbs. just trying to research him.
