What a silly statement. Could it be that folks just dont like voting for a socialist. Why is it not racist that 98% of blacks are voting for him? Why dont you decry that fact?

You seriously think 98% of blacks are voting for Obama. You are an idiot.

Do you call Palin a communist because the redistributed the profits of the oil companies to the citizens of Alaska?

Do you call McCain a socialist because he helped pass a bill giving $700 billion to the banks?

Giving 95% of the people a tax cut is not socialism.

I love how all the ignorant people are running around using the word socialist as if they have any clue what they're talking about.

I agree. before people use words like communist or socialism they should do the research to understand what these terms mean. and as if there aren't social services in place already that give aid to people with needs they cant meet.

When people get a "TAX CUT" that do not pay taxes, not a tax cut, welfare with other peoples money call it what it is.

Socialism: Public collective ownership or control, distribution and exchange of wealth and assuring to each member of society an equitable share of goods services etc.

This is what Obama is calling for. Call it what it is SOCIALISM!

Wow.

Do you not understand how taxes work? If you don't make enough money to pay taxes, the government doesn't GIVE you more money then you made when you file. They simply give you back the money that was taken out of your check during the year.

A tax cut would simply increase the amount of money that 95% of the people get back from the taxes they ALREADY PAID throughout the year. The government does not simply give you money.

Oh wait. What about those refund checks? Guess who decided to GIVE AWAY the government's money? George Bush.

A decrease in taxes is not the same as a refund check. Yes, people making over 250,000 a year would pay more in taxes, but that money doesn't go to people making less than 250,000 a year. It goes to the government, just like every other dollar from taxes. I don't know why this is so hard to understand.

If you don't pay taxes, then a tax cut doesn't affect you. Zero minus zero equal zero.

I did state an untrue fact, only 91% of blacks are supporting Obama, Gallop poll Oct.20-26 2008. Does not change the underlying fact of who are the racist in this race.

I understand all to well have taxes work. I get a refresher every few months when I have to send mine in.

You need to educate yourself about all the things "the one" has promised.
47 million more people on Medicare.
Goverment provided health care
Universal federal daycare
Free college education
Hundreds of billion spent on infrastructure And yes he has promised tax money to those that do not pay income taxes
And you think he is going to pay for all this on with raising the taxes on the top 5% a few percentage points.

In case you have not noticed George Bush is not running in this election.

sounds good to me. maybe blacks are voting for Obama because they have been treated as secondhand citizens for ages. Their time has come with Obama.

the class that has been struggling with this type of racism for years whether it be out in the open or covert. The class that has been treated less than human.

You know, the last Democrat that was in office left with a budget SURPLUS. It's the Republicans that don't know jack shit about conserving our tax dollars.

NATIONAL DEBT

"Double Whammy: 50-Year Record on Sept. 22.

$10 Trillion on Sept. 30, 2008.

The gross national debt compared to GDP (how rich we are) reached its lowest level since 1931 as Reagan took office in 1981. It skyrocketed for 12 years through Bush I.

Clinton reversed it at a peak of 67%.

Bush II crossed that line on Sept. 22 and hit 69% on Sept 30.

That's the highest it's been since 1955 (53 years ago).

Bush did three things to skyrocket the debt from $5.7 trillion to $10 trillion:

1. He lowered taxes on the rich (by far the biggest item).

2. He invaded Iraq instead of winning in Afghan-Pakistan (another $600 B).

3. He loosened controls on Wall Street.

As it happens, McCain backed all three policies:

(1) He backed Bush's tax cuts for the rich and now wants to give them bigger tax cuts.

(2) He was gung-ho for the Iraq war from the start.

(3) When Katie Couric asked Sarah Palin to name one time McCain suggested regulating Wall Street, she couldn'tóbecause he never did. He crowed in the Wall Street Journal how he was always against regulation.

Obama opposed the first two and said Wall St. needed regulating."

Democrats, Republicans....

Itís a political and corporate class that is very insulated and has its own interests and ensures that those interests are served by the Congress, no matter which party is in control. And they write their own rules that apply only to them and to nobody else. And itís really at the center of why Americans are so deeply dissatisfied with how our government functions.

Regardless of political stance.

And voting gives the average person a belief that they actually have some say in what goes on.

I think that they need to stop looking at the color of his skin, and look more at his policies. "Judge a man by the content of his character not the color of his skin." So therefore I will not vote for Obama because of what he supports. Live abortion, the fact that he hides his past, and won't answer questions truthfully, and he hides under "racism". I am so tired of everyone that does not drink the Obama Koolaid being called a racist. I was asked why I was voting for McCain, and I answered about his policies in comparrison to Obamas. I asked her why she was voting for Obama, and it was because she wanted to see a black man in the white house. She didn't know anything about the issues. Is that how you vote? AMERICA IS READY FOR A BLACK PRESIDENT, JUST NOT HIM. I hope everyone is ready for what the future holds. I don't agree with everything McCain/Palin wants to do, but I don't worry about my safety, safety of my children, my family, and community under their watch.

all of your concerns have been dispelled. people latch on to one thing and runwith it till it snowballs and then the truth is somewhere in between. and I vote for himm because I like what he stands for.
