in Switzerland the government tried a new approach to addiction. they opened free clinics giving addicts free doses each day. crime went down drastically. It actually helped there economy incarceration from drug charges dropped 65%. the swiss says the drug war cost them more than just giving them to those that choose to use I'm not saying drug use is a good thing but people are going to use drug no matter what so why not charge for the drugs instead of tax payers spending 100's of millions of dollars to stop something that is unstoppable.

To those who think this new pain clinic is one of those florida pill mills think again.. This doctor is by the book if you test pos for any street drugs he doesnt see you. he only gives you what you need not three narcotics at the same time. Your mri has to show that you have serious issues causing you this pain and why you need the pain meds. there are actually good doctors honest doctors out there that try to help people that are in so much pain but the people that want to go to these places to get the drugs to sell are the ones the DEA needs to shut down not the doctors trying to care for patients in need.
So you people that wanna ditch this office think about your grandmother grand father mom dad aunt uncle any one that may be close to you imagine them having cancer a very very painful way to die then ask yourself if it would be right to deny them the pain releif they needed to die without suffering... Just give this office and this doctor a chance and to the one that commented on dr azmat being sued for killing patients what about that highly credited heart surgeon that was sued for crippeling a patient and having a few of his patients die. People wake up doctors are doctors they are human just like the rest of us Only God can say when it is our time to go not a minute sooner or later. doctors are not God they can't perform miracles they can only treat you and help you live a functional normal life. one of these days you are going to be old and suffer from arthrirtis somethinf else very painful and then your gonna think God for pain meds...
people dying of cancer and etc can use hospice. Free not 350.00/visit!

May be a pill mill, but most specialist cost more than that. I run a clinic and routinely do surveys to see if we are in the area on certain treatments. I found that most of the reputable clinics charge between $500 and $700 per visit. They are very high if you are without insurance and that is if they will see you. We specialized in taking people without insurance. We found MRI facilities which would do them for $300-$550 cash. We had a lab which charged $75 for basic blood work and we ate the cost of the UDT. Now the state mandates we take private insurance so we have had to raise our price to the $300 level. We really hated to do it, but we had to "upgrade" from a GP to a specialist and the insurance companies only pay a fraction of our normal cash fee. That is why so many clinics push injections. They can charge the visit and then the shot. They can't make their per patient net unless they do it that way.

I don't know anyone dying of cancer who isn't given the meds they need by their oncologist. I don't know anybody who has had major surgery who isn't given the meds they need by their surgeon. I don't know anyone who had dental work who isn't given meds by their Dentist. Who ARE these people who are terminal and in such pain that can't get pain meds from the doctor treating them for that condition?
Well since you DONT KNOW...I'm going to tell you...any person with chronic pain...be it pain from cancer or any other debilitating condition is referred to (by their PCP, oncologist, etc) and treated by a physician specializing in long term pain management. Not everyone with chronic pain is a pill head and it is insulting to think so. Pray you never find yourself or one of your loved ones needing such care. I work at a pain care clinic and we see many patients everyday. Most have been referred by their doctors and most have extremely painful, debilitating conditions and those who do not are booted out the doors. So please don't pass judgement on something you know nothing about. That goes for anyone on here making dumbass comments about people they nothing about. Grow up, show some maturity and if it don't pertain to you then leave people the hell alone.

There you go. There are only a few reasons to pay that kind of money. Why not just catch the pill billy express (allegiant air) from LEX to Florida and come bac with a real score and no hassle?
why dnt you just STFU i have a mom that suffers horribly without pain pills due to cancer....oh? What? Its ok for her to be a so called junkie bc she has cancer? Lots of ppl ive met at her dr office over the yrs are good ppl with plenty of factual proof that they are in severe pain..yes some were also full of shit but ive not seen too many junkies come up with $350 to give a dr that may not give them anything...you are not God so stop judging ppl you dnt know...
