The only reason people lose weight on the HCG diet is because it limits you to 500ish calories per day. The HCG does nothing for your body other than empty your wallet. If you want to lose weight, do it the only way that's real....burn more calories than you consume....watch what you eat (simple carbs, fats, etc) and exercise....go to a gym or run outside or something. Gimmick diets are just that, gimmicks. They are ways people come up with to con money out of people, and so are those weight loss centers.

Are you male or female? What types of vitamins did they prescribe for you?

I started their hormone and vitamin treatment a few weeks ago. I'm female, and am taking testosterone and progesterone, as my blood levels were really low! I have felt a difference in my energy levels and ability to handle stress just in this short time. Nothing Earth shattering... just a overall better sense of calm. I will be starting the HCG Weight Loss Protocol after I even out my other issues. I have high hopes.

I went to Abundant, the whole staff is really nice...their program works for hormone replenishment and weight loss but it is REALLY expensive. For about $1500 I received treatment for 3 months (weight loss and hormones). My complaint is that they didnt weigh me or chart my progress regularly, they measured me after I had already lost 30 lbs, and at the end of my program they never told me my overall results. Also, the contract i had signed said I would receive treatment for 12 months but they wanted more money after 3 months. I do believe in what they do but i think they need better organized office procedures, and they need to write up contracts that they are willing to abide by. I refuse to give them any more money. I ordered hcg online for a fraction of what abundant charged me, and I achieved the same results doing this on my own :)

another scam, no not really. They really do give you tons of good vitamins, blood work that never matched my dr's blood panel, shoot you with lots of hormone injections, because they have you convinced this is why your tired all the time, or fat, or mad, or ....a WOMAN! Of course you'll lose weight on the HCG diet, it's 500 calories a day! Unless you get double does of injections, your being scammed. It doesnt work. The body cant even digest HCG at that level.

Lets get on to the customer service. I called to see if I could cancel, or even get different services, because I know... I signed my life away. No one returned my call. Zach apologized over and over, I felt bad for him because it wasn't even his place to discuss this with me, but never the less... the message was to be given to the 'pregnant' one. That's how they excused the loss of my message.

Long story short, they wouldn't budge. Either I got the hormones or I paid and received nothing.#contract So, I never called back.$200 was ripped out of my account for 18 months, and not one time did anyone ever call me about my absence. You would think after shooting hormones all over the place they would do follow up calls. No one called and said, hey... we're eating from your bank account, would you like to come back in for an appt? Nothing. No one noticed I was gone, and no one called to check on my results from the first treatment.

It was if I never existed.

Today I recieved a letter, from them that read.."it has been a pleasure to observe the documented improvements' since your first visit.

Etc.

Etc.

If you are prepared to re-sign with us.... hahahaha

You all get my point. Thx for reading, my next phone call is to my clients at the local TV stations.

Thats cute.

I never received follow up calls either. No one noticed that I wasn't coming, yet it was taken out of my account. I laid up in the hospital for 3 months paying $210 a month and they acted like nothing when I called. I said I've missed 3 months and Jody sounded embarrassed.

Bad service to be dealing in hormone therapy in my opinion. I now go to Lena Edwards, AMAZING.

I wish I could say this clinic was a good foundation for weight loss or hormones, but in reality, after working there I realized the vitamins they give can be bought at GNC or Walmart. The hormones can be administered at 1/4 of the cost with your OBgyn, Dr.Gyler does it for an office visit.

Anyone would lose weight on a caloric intake of 500, eating around the clock as they instructed. I hate to see anyone in such a bad state that they fall this low to pay this much money because they were desperate.

Find a way to love yourself, Abundant Living does not love you. They love your money.

I have heard nothing but complaints about this clinic and my own personal experience was horrible. They allow people off the street to manage medical advice and falsely advertise vitamins that are "individualized." Their vitamins aren't even labeled! My doctor could not even tell me what was in them! DANGEROUS CLINIC....BEWARE

This is not how good business works, Im embarrassed t say, I tried it and it worked, for one month. After that my hormones went crazy and my Dr. said it would take a while to get normal.

They wouldnt let me out of my contract, horrible.

If you only eat 500 calories a day you have to loose weight. Seems like an awful lot of money!! I think the guy on the commericals is creepy!!!

Yeah tell me about it. Having Brett Melrose from Fayette Heating and air speak about how good it is a joke.

He doesnt even know what customer service is would never buy another system from them spent 20K nothing but problems and he would never return a phone call after leaving 12 messages. So if his service sucks I'm sure he got a hand in the kitty here to so I will stay away as well.

Your doctor can do that without a $200 monthly contract. Better your wallet than mine.

I have been on the abundant living protocols for about 2 weeks and I feel much much better already so I have NO REGRETS. however, I wish i had read all of your comments beforehand but my brain was so muddled and fuzzy from all my deficiencies i honestly couldn't think straight! I want to respond to the comments that you can get all of this from a regular doctor. My experience with complaining to my family doctor whom i have tremendous respect for AND my endocrinologist is that I was LUCKY to even get a thyroid prescription! My family doc just changed my anxiety medication. Neither of them was even remotely interested in testing for any other hormone deficiency even when I asked. They have both watch my weight sky rocket and no one says anything. The funny thing is that all this happens so gradually you hardly notice that you can't think clearly, can't move etc. My endocrinologist didn't even call me A YEAR AGO WHEN MY BLOOD WORK INDICATED I SHOULD BE ON THYROID MEDS. I want to suggest that those of you who feel ripped off to please please please contact the Better Business Bureau. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain plus it will put them notice to be more accommodating. I think they should let you out of the agreement anytime you want. I have also priced to the best of my ability all of the supplement and hormones i receive from Abundant Living and i calculate that the true cost with a nurse's injection and a doctor's review etc would be about $100+ a month. When my contract is up I plan to arrange all of their program with my family doctor. In the mean time I am going to learn all I can about their supplements so I can be sure to purchase the correct stuff! Here is what I get: B-12 injection and sub-lingual pill, testosterone pellet implanted, thyroid med, multi-vitamin, "beauty and brains" supplement, pro-biotic supplement, iodine, progesterone supplement and vitamin D supplement.
