I have seen several of this guys ads on craigslist and wondered if this is legit. I have been looking for a decently priced King set for a while and he is advertising a really good deal ($225) if he is legit. Has anyone checked them out or been to the address (1847 Mercer Road, Suite F.)? I live in Morehead and can't go to Lexington just to see if there is a legitimate business there.

Yea they are real but it's prob the cheapest hardest things u will ever sleep on. I checked out something like that once. Advertising new mattresses at huge discounts and cheap, and when I went to look at them that's exactly what they were. I would rather sleep on my couch than the things I looked at. If he is advertising them for that cheap...they prob aren't worth much.

I heard they pick up stuff off the streets etc then re-cover them so sometimes they have bed bugs. I've never bought from them but that's the rumor I heard. Cheap for a reason.

I pass by this place every day and it's basically a makeshift store set up in a strip of warehouses. This strip has lost some of its tenants over time; you kinda get the feel the strip really just needed to have someone occupy the space. It's legit in the sense that the Overstock people are there and they do have customers in the parking lot, but it looks kinda dicey and temporary. There's no other retail around, for miles.

Can't comment on the quality of the items but if it's too good to be true...:-/

Beware. Sometimes used mattresses are "reconditioned".

The mattress he has are all brand new, straight from the manufacture. The reason they are less expensive is the space in the "strip mall" does not cost as much rent as the "big" guys...so there is not as much overhead so the costs dont have to be passed on to the customers.. Like the big well known places... There are low end stuff as well as high end stuff. If you dont know what you are talking about.... dont bad mouth it..... stop by and check it out for your self...

He has nice things but u get what u pay for. If u want a king size bed for $250 its gonna be pretty hard. If u want to pay about $450 then u will find a nice comfortable bed.

I heard the same thing, reconditioned beds they get from the garbage. I would pass. I get tired of looking at all the signs. It is illegal to put those signs up in Lexington.

Try wildcat mattress off of new circle road.. We bought an expensive king size mattress cheap because it was a factory flaw.. It was different colors on each side.. It was brand new and by far the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on

It's an actual business, yes. I bought a box spring from them a couple months ago after my cat clawed my other one. It does look a little bit dicey but it's just your typical low rent space. It looks far better than Lexington overstock in my opinion and a lot of people sing the praises of that place. Just remember you get what you pay for in a lot of cases. But yes, it's legit. My boxspring has held up and my identity wasn't stolen or anything.

What I bought was brand new. I dont think I saw anything "refurbished" but I'm not 100% on that.

I am the owner. Everything is brand new, nothing is reconditioned. I suspect some of the posts on here are from my competitors. Yes, I am in a low rent area to save money and pass that on to the consumers. I have queen mattress sets from $69 to $1,600. Guess what....the $69 set is brand new, still in the plastic....but, it is a cheap mattress....it is $69, don't expect a lot.

My prices are the lowest in town. Find a $500 mattress set elsewhere, buy the same thing from me for $300. I am the largest Restonic dealer in the state...Restonic has been rated the number 1 best buy by consumer's digest seven years in a row.

I carry Ashley furniture. Same identical items you'll find at retail stores, just for a lot less.

I am "A" rated with the BBB. This business is very legit and we are getting ready to open a second store.

Jeff {The Mattress Guy} Is Just a Hillbilly Trying To Make a Living....Do Y'all Talk about Larry {The Cable Guy} Like This???...

The Stuff I've Looked at was New....But If He {Does} Happen To Have Refurbished Mattresses....There's a State Law That Requires Him To Also Refurbish The Bed Bugs as Well....And From What I Understand....His Son Max Is a Cutie Pie.....
