I lost my house I did not ask for any one to give me hand out...My company went under. And it took 6 months every day looking for another job..I found one with far less pay and I would have still lost my house with this little money im am making.
My house payment was only 840.00 but when there is nothing coming in the bank did not even help defer a payment. but you call me trash.. come walk in my shoes and then talk...just some one who has to talk down to people..I bet your still living at you parents house depending on them for you taco bell arnt you!!!!!!

Ok great you lost your job, but I can't understand if you didn't make your payments on your house and the bank took it back, why they owe you any money. Myself I would work two jobs or whatever it took not to lose my house. You could make a payment of $840 a month working at McDonalds.

Can't wait until the day comes and the dollar is no longer accepted as it is techically worthless as it is. Or better yet, we wake up one morning and go to the bank and there are no more dollars in our accounts.
Good times indeed, not so much for the TPTB though they will be crying the loudest.

You will never see that happen during your lifetime, you will remain a poor, uneducated, unemployed idiot. Sounds like a great future for you.

Haha, think so? I am none of your stereotypical examples, far from it. I just understand that our current system is not sustainable, and since our elected officials do not seem to want to fix the problem then hitting rock bottom is the only other way. short of armed revolt which is possibility too.

So you go right ahead and keep thinking that everything is ok, while TPTB keep destroying this countries future for our kids.

Go ahead and keep your head in the sand, they will just shoot you in the ass instead.

LOL you are such an idiot to sit around and worry about things you can't control. Go sit in your little closet and eat your K-rations and be scared.

There is a difference between sitting around worrying about things I cannot control and preparing for what is inevitably to come. I like my position actually, better than having my head in the sand.

What about people that bought new houses and then walked away from existing mortgages with no intention of paying for their first mortgage? Those people had jobs, money and credit and made it harder for those that legitamemtly fell on hard times to get real help. They are the ones who should not get away with walking away from their responsibilities because they didn't feel like paying their mortgage. That happened way more often then anyone knows or talks about. Jjust because you have money doesn't mean you feel obligated to do the right thing!!

Lets be honest, the great experiment failed. Some people are just not responsible enough to own homes and the government put them into a home with hardly any investment of their own.

In 2008 my husband was laid off his job and then found another job in 2009 that paid him $20,000 less per year. Not to mention that when we tried to re-fi the bank told us we couldn't because we didn't have 80% loan to value. So we tried
selling our house but the market tanked and our home wouldn't even sell for what we owed on it. So by July 2009 I started to fall behind. I put it up for short sale and had a great offer of $205,000 with $35,000 cash down by 8/29/09 which I signed. However, The bank still hadn't responded to the buyers for 4 Months, so the buyer recinded the offer. This happened 4 more times, but the offers were less each time. Until finally I get a letter in the mail that the banks were foreclosing on my house. Well, I guess they robo-signed it because I never had to sign anything. If they would have just signed the first offer, we would have only owed a small balance that we could have worked out with the bank, but they were determined to foreclose. This is an outrage as we were very loyal in making all our payments up to the July date and only were behind 2 payments when we had recieved and signed our 1st offer. We deserve our money back!!!! These bankers are getting their bonuses on our backs, and while we have to suffer our loses, they are going on lavish vacations. So I guess I can thank the attorney generals office for going after those scoundrels, at least I will recover the amount of money it cost me to plant the 2 trees I placed in the front and back yard.

Ok This is the biggest bunch of bullshit that I have ever read. You are several months behind in your mortgage and you want the bank to sell the house for less than YOU borrowed on it and lose money. Was it the banks fault too that your husband lost his job at McDonalds? You deserve nada and I hope the bank is relentless in getting their money back from your worthless family.

Good to see all the trash get their government money. This freaking country is going to hell, when companies have to repay people who didnt make payments on their homes is just plain sick. Guess who bails out the trash again, people that hold down a job and make their monthly payments. I guess its good to have Omama has your leader.

Do you really think the banks won't raise their fees to existing customers to make up for these losses? You asked for a loan on a house you couldnt afford and it's the banks fault REALLY?
