Yep, Elkhorn Creek below the dam. You can wade right up to cast under the overflow. Some big ones lurk there this time of year. A lot of pan fish in that overflow too, especially those red belly blue gills and rock bass.

Can you give me directions how to get to the fishing spot. Where is the dam located?

Drive Georgetown road from Lexington all the way to and thru the Georgetown main Street. At the exit of town, the road has a bridge over Elkhorn,.. turn right at the end of the bridge. It's a gravel entry with several buildings but no one cares if fishermen park. You can see the dam on the right. Watch your step and you can climb down the broken concrete and reach the bottom. Or you can just fish off the dam if it isn't crowded with fishermen.

So sorry dude,.. I had a big old brain fart. I shouldn't try to think and chew gum at the same time after hours..

ANYWAY, substitute Paris for every time I wrote Georgetown and my posts will make sense. Elkhorn runs thru both and I got my wires crossed. The dam I'm speaking of is at the end of main street at Paris Ky. Take Paris Pike from Lexington, etc....
