I wish I was black. I am sick of being discriminated against because I am white. I don't get food stamps, housing assistance, hell free food for that matter.

Wish I was white. I wouldn't have to serve time if I commited a "white-collar" crime like embezzling money from my employer; I would get a slap on the wrist instead. Even if I was a homeless white person, I would still have an advantage over any other race because of my whiteness. A homeless white person vs. a wealthy person of color = I still win. I want to kill affirmative action and those racists Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton.

Now for the topic at hand. I agree that White Racism must stop just as I agree that Black Racism must stop. What I donot understand is the need for color in these titles.Couldnt it be an acepted argument that RACISM itsself simply needs to stop.Haters come in all diferent colors from diferent levels in our society. It is ugly and serves no good for the person being hated or the person doing the hating.Just seems like a vicious waste of time to me. I admit I fed into this garbage at one point in my life but at this age my minutes are way too preciouse to spend them hating someone because of thier color or thier beliefs. I choose instead to look for posotive actions to fill my days with now. I find I sleep better I love more and people like me for it.It feels like such a waste to fight a endless ignorant battle over color or indiference.If you are going to fight please find something worth fighting for.

Racism will never stop. There are too many people that have their own opinions and stereotypes. Bless the few people that have stood up for something good and tried to make a change, but there will always be people that are set in their ways and refuse to accept people that are different from them. Racism stems from fear. The fear of the unknown. A girl I went to high school with (white) fell in love and had a baby with the man she loves (black). Her father will not even see her or the baby. He can't believe she had a child by a black guy. He can't even put his own fears and opinions aside for his own grandson. Racism and fear is bigger than the love he feels for his own family. Sad!

I agree racism is racism, the motivation driving racism differs greatly across the ethnic board. But laying aside personal feelings of individuals, the "practice" of racism can only be carried out by those in power. The power to exert negative impact on education, housing, employment, political enactment of laws, and true social equality, still resides mainly in the white court, so to speak.

Blacks, Asians, Latinos, can all be racist in their hearts but these segments of society don't control the dynamics of society nor influence the existing social structures enough to wield power over whites. Therefore the "practice" of racism can't impact quality of life for whites the way it does minorities. So while reverse racism can occur between individuals it's barely a blip on the impact radar effecting life quality in white society. That's why changing sterotyping and racial terminology, practices, and old mind sets, is an "onus" for whites more than the minorities.

We whites created the problem, we must accept ownership for it. We must be the ones to speak up and say, "I'm personally willing to help fix it". It starts at home. We can stop denying the problem exists. We can't justify white racist behavior by pointing out the feeling is mutual in the minorities. Of course it is. We pretty much insure that by our denial.

You can't blame all of the ills of society on Whites only. If we can blame ourselves it was due to the society of yesteryear that didn't allow blacks to vote, own property and have any human rights. In todays age most black people can be as sucessful as any other group. It might be harder but it can be accomplished. The same public schools are out there for all. Black people do have to take their responsibility in handling their children and seeing that they rise above their status. this is something that they have to do on their own. No one get's anywhere when living in yesteryear. The blame game is old and outdated. As far as crime, this is something that the black leaders of this country has to attempt to solve.
