My son is 13 months. I might be going back to work soon. Can anyone recommend a daycare to me? Money is not a factor.

There is a wonderful daycare on Saron Dr off of Tates Creek and Man O'War. I have been told by many people that it is the best daycare in Lexington. I don't know the name of it because they don't have any signs posted and they don't advertise. It seems like they honestly don't want that many people to find out about them because they are already having to turn a lot of people away, so from that standpoint it may be very difficult to get your child in right away. I have been told that they have a waiting list to get in but I don't know that for sure. Like I said, I don't have a name or phone # to give you because I just don't know what they are, but I can tell you exactly where they are located. If you turn onto Saron Dr from Man O'War, there is a Shell Station immediately to your right. After the Shell, on your right there is a big open field, and the daycare is the first building you will come to on the right after the empty field. If you come upon Fiddler Creek Drive then you have passed up the daycare. I hope this is helpful.

Kinder Care on Custer Drive. It's the best of the best! Had my children there from 6 weeks all the way until they were too old to go! They are awesome! It is pretty expensive at around $150 a week per child under 3 years old, but well worth the money! You get what you pay for! Keep that in mind!
love it

I would also recommend kindercare on Custer dr. There new director is very smart and all the teachers like and respect her. Besides her bachelors degree in family and consumer sciences she also has a masters in public health and is currently working on a masters in education. She is passionate about early childhood Ed. And truly cares about every child and their family that is enrolled there. She also has two assistants who are smart and qualified and care about the job. As for the teachers I really don't know any of them personally but I know she would not hire them I not confident in their ability. Also they have some specialized programs including the head start program which is monitered by the state which she makes sure are above and beyond state requirements. Hope this helps!

I would definately say The day care at the Family Care Center on Red Mile rd. It is WONDERFUL. It is a 4 star day care and it is only 130 a week. They have a very low child/teacher ratio. Now that my son is in the 2 year old room there is 1 teacher for every 4 students.

My daughter has gone to Central Baptist Church Childcare Center for over a year and LOVES it. The director there is very sweet and is always available for concerns. The teachers are amazing - my daughter has learned so much, and the teachers are all awesome. They do teach the kids how to pray before meals, but they do not teach any specific denomination. I would definitely recommend them to any Christian family.
