JusttheFacts wrote: <quoted text>here's some history. About 30 years ago Ron Reagan convinced the Republican Party Members that if we all could let the rich have more than everyone would be so much better off for it. In those 30 years since, the middle class incomes have increased 18% while the top 1% have grown by 287%. The 400 richest people in the US have more wealth combined than the first 150 MILLION Americans. 80% of ALL income each year goes to the top 20% of Americans. In those 30 years the average pay of CEOs has grown from 23 times that of the workers to almost 400 times that of worker pay. Mitt Romney's answer to solve the problem of not enough income to pay the bills. Less Taxes on the rich. If your facts are right how much did Bill Clinton signing NAFTA into law in 93 play into it? It allowed corperate giants to ship our jobs out! Less jobs for Americans more profit for the 1%!!! Do you shop at walmart? That is the richest corperation in America and the jobs it creates are part time low wage shit jobs! I wager you have shoped there recently? I however have not been in one in 12 years!!! Just the facts!

Homeland Insecurity wrote: <quoted text> Frank, you picked my favorite subject, history! Let’s talk of Democrat history if you will; let us narrow it down (for this lesson) to Andrew Jackson, a President from the very same Democrat party that stands today! He was a great American Hero, or so it is told. Albeit he actually stole the Presidency at the convention, then destroyed the national bank to help his political allies in the banking business! Does this remind you of anything Frank? Also this ‘Great man’ was for the expansion of American Slavery (Remember Frank it was your great party that indorsed and maintained slavery) and he favored the complete annihilation of the Native American race from the planet! He and his Generals organized the death march called “The Trail of Tears”! Now you’ve been schooled a bit Frank, so please feel free to talk about any part of ‘Party History’ you wish Frank, because I have an arsenal waiting! Not copy and paste horseshit from MSNBC, real provable facts! I don't think he will want to know anymore facts. Facts destroy him. One of those that history was kept from in school.

Wonder why? Do you remember who was President just befor Reagan? In 4 years he just about destroyed our National economy! However I will say Jimmy Carter was the most decent and kind man to ever hold the office of President! As for your facts and figures, I need more evidence than you saying it, to belive it! Let us talk about the worst President in History.....W. He is followed closely by his Dad. Dumb and Dumber.

American Lady wrote: To all my friends from Texas, just read this in a comment on Chicks On The Right: Reasons to move to Texas when we secede from the union (I didn’t write it, but it’s damn good): Please note that Texas is the only state with a legal right to secede from the Union.(Reference the Texas-American Annexation Treaty of 1848.) We Texans love y’all, but we’ll probably have to take action if Barack Obama wins the election. We’ll miss you too. Here is what can happen: 1: Barack Hussein Obama is President of the United States, and Texas secedes from the Union in summer of 2013. 2: George W. Bush will become the President of the Republic of Texas . You might not think that he talks too pretty, but we haven’t had another terrorist attack, and the economy was fine until the effects of the Democrats lowering the qualifications for home loans came to roost. So what does Texas have to do to survive as a Republic? 1. NASA is just south of Houston, Texas. We will control the space industry. 2. We refine over 85% of the gasoline in the United States. 3. Defense Industry–we have over 65% of it. The term “Don’t mess with Texas,” will take on a whole new meaning. 4. Oil – we can supply all the oil that the Republic of Texas will need for the next 300 years. What will the other states do? Gee, we don’t know. Why not ask Obama? 5. Natural Gas – again we have all we need, and it’s too bad about those Northern States. John Kerry and Al Gore will have to figure out a way to keep them warm…. 6. Computer Industry – we lead the nation in producing computer chips and communications equipment -small companies like Texas Instruments, Dell Computer, EDS, Raytheon, National Semiconductor, Motorola, Intel, AMD, Atmel, Applied Materials, Ball Micro-conductor, Dallas Semiconductor, Nortel, Alcatel, etc, etc. The list goes on and on. 7. Medical Care – We have the research centers for cancer research, the best burn centers and the top trauma units in the world, as well as other large health centers. The Houston Medical Center alone employees over 65,000 people. 8. We have enough colleges to keep us getting smarter: University of Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Texas Christian, Rice, SMU, University of Dallas , University of Houston , Baylor, UNT ( University of North Texas ), Texas Women’s University, etc. Ivy grows better in the South anyway. 9. We have an intelligent and energetic work force, and it isn’t restricted by a bunch of unions. Here in Texas, it’s a Right to Work State and, therefore, it’s every man and women for themselves. We just go out and get the job done. And if we don’t like the way one company operates, we get a job somewhere else. 10. We have essential control of the paper, plastics, and insurance industries, etc. 11. In case of a foreign invasion, we have the Texas National Guard, the Texas Air National Guard, and several military bases. We don’t have an Army, but since everybody down here has at least six rifles and a pile of ammo, we can raise an Army in 24 hours if we need one. If the situation really gets bad, we can always call the Department of Public Safety and ask them to send over the Texas Rangers. ~continued~ .....thank you sir.....you just confirmed my decision about moving!!....i exist in ca.....

I can't wait for your history according to the Internet rumor mill :-) Homo Republicanus: A small-brained, proto-human that apparently survived and thrives in what is called the USA, walks upright, uses basic tools and, according to local legend, has the ability to simulate human speech by “parroting” words without actual comprehension. Most anthropologists believe that homo Republicanus became extinct and only a skeletal record of their existence remains. A minority of anthropologists, however, and particularly those in the field of political anthropology, are convinced that homo Republicanus did not go extinct.
