Has your home gained value in the last three years? Well NO! Home values have really lost 35 percent! Our tax money is gone, but is the nation's unemployment rate below 8 percent?, Well NO! Has Iran stopped its efforts to build the bomb? Well NO! We got rid of that guy from Texas, but is the price of gasoline cheaper than it was three years ago? Well NO! Are you better off now, than you were three years ago? Well NO! Is America a stronger more respected nation than it was three years ago? Well NO! So you see it's really a "NO BRAINER", Obama you're fired!

We are actually selling our home for more than we bought it for 5 years ago, both have better jobs than we did 5 years ago. Our health insurance company lowered its prices thanks to affordable care act and gave us a refund on the money we overpaid. Bin laden is dead now, Iran is the same pain in the ass it's always been.

Best president ever? No.

Am I satisfied? Yep.

I’m happy for you however you’re the exception, rather than the rule. Most Americans can’t see the sun for all the rain. Don’t you feel that when vote, you vote to correct government for everyone? Surely, you don't only vote your personal wallet! Or then again, maybe you do!

I vote for the best candidate,p who supports my beliefs. I vote for someones who will champion ideas I stand behind, healthcare, etc.

Your same argument could be used for all the right wing lunatics who vote based on being agaimst abortion and same sex marriage. If those 2 issues don't bother you and you personally don't plan on participation in either then why do you care how the government regulates or allows them?

Don't you feel that when you vote, you should vote for equal right for everyone?

Or do you just feel that your opinions are the only ones that matter? Hmmm?

Right are equal. It's still about the economy, we're not stupid! Here a little more for you to chew!

1. Our money is worth less.

2. The additional 5 trillion debt has cost us our credit rating.

3. The new jobs, can't keep pace with population growth.

4. We're the slaves of China, because we have done nothing to reduce the debt!

5. We appear weak to Iran and Syria, Neither would be pulling this crap with Regan in office.

Tell the 650 million rice farmers in China that we are their slaves. Or tell it to all the ones working in their sweat shops. Most Chinese don't feel very fortunate. They seem prosperous right now because they are 3 times as many of them as us to produce and manufacture. Their quality of life is no better. Their freedom is no more. In China, your career is pretty much determine by birth or a score on a test when your 10 years young. Don't do too well on test? Go work in the fields and then your test scores won't be counted aganst us anymore. The whole world is suffering from overpopulation and a lack of jobs. World War II created jobs and opportunity after the war but since then its been on a steady decline. We don't want a World War III so maybe people need to learn to be happy with less. Americans need to stop looking to the government to fix everything and be willing to switch careers or move to a different state. Let's take some responsibility!

I agree with you. Plus, if you don't want to support China, then DON'T SUPPORT CHINA.
Buy locally own food, locally made products etc. Go without the iPhone, flat screen tv, cheaply made and low quality toys etc! Heaven forbid we learn to entertain ourselves or build things for ourselves or pay a few dollars more for american made quality (and thus stimulate manufacturing and jobs in our own country). Every single time you buy something, you are voting saying to support that product and where it comes from. Until we as a society stand up and voice our opinions with our purchases (lets face it, money is the only thing that gets attention) all the retailers will keep on filling their shelves with mass produced crap from china, squeezing out our own American made products in favore of mass produces cheap crap. Yes, china can make it cheaper because their workers work for pennies a day. But if you want to have/encourage/promote/keep good jobs in America that pay more than the Chinese then you need to do whatever you can whether it's voting for the candidate with policies you purport or refusing to spurt china by purchasing everything you can as a domestic made product.

Also, I agree, with you jobs are on the decline, we have out-modernized ourselves by advancing technology and manufacturing so much that machines and computers are more efficient than humans, sad but true. Even at the grocery store you can check yourself out without anybody's help, you can go the ATM to get cash without seeing a teller, you can pay your bills and contact everyone you know on the nest without requiring a postal service. We live in a world we just don't need that many people doing the same jobs they did 50 years ago. The jobs that are available are very technology based, but the numbers of jobs will never match that which was needed in the past, And the jobs that do still require physical work many aren't willing to do because companies refuse to pay a decent wage because they want to increase profits, decrree production costs, as well as reduce consumer costs because we all demand "always the loweste prices" at any cost.

Think before you buy. Don't just vote in the election, vote daily with your dollar. If we could get the masses of people to do this then may be retailers would finally start wanting to sell local American made stuff!

Well why don't you move to Cuba and "learn to be happy with less." I'm certain that's the attitude that Obama wants us to wear. I however was taught that hard work has rewards and those fruits of my labor are mine! Success is not a crime, nor is it a shame, nor should anyone feel guilt. That's the American way. I'm not cold hearted, I share, but I'll will share with those I choose without uncle telling me what, when, where, how or who to share with! If we need uncle we know where to find uncle. Let's not settle for less, let's reach for the stars, and aim high America!

There is a reality laden medium between having to go live in Cuba and coming to terms with being happy with less here in the great US of A. I was in Graceland the other day where the "King of Rock n Roll" Elvis Presley lived in what was the highest luxury. He actually had 3 TVs installed in his entertainment basement underneath the jungle room. Why 3? Because they only had 3 channels back then. If Elvis walked into any lower middle class home today and saw the entertainment juggernaunt systems that we have compare to back then he would think we were all filthy rich. My point is that we are more entertained then ever. The average person carries around a phone that is a camera that has hundreds of songs downloaded on it. Americans can get good grades in high school and get a scholarship to college to become anything they want. Many Americans chose unwise career paths and need to go back or move to another state but feel too entitled to some "American dream" that is antiquited in today's global economy.

"reality laden medium", "coming to terms with being happy with less" and "entitled to some "American dream"

Sounds like you've lost your motivation because you're too “entertained” and realize that your education in cupcake tasting just doesn't fit the demands of the globe. Uncle said all you needed college, now uncle says settle for less, if uncle said stick your head in the fire, you would be first in line! I'm for less, a hell of a lot less of uncle. The America I know isn't a dream, it's very real! Those of you that wish to settle for less go find an island, and start your own weak nation! Too many have died to ensure America is the leader of the free world. To settle for less, would be an injustice to our forefathers, and besides we don't like packing your dead weight!

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Leo

Don't be afraid to voice your opinions today, even if you suspect that they aren't what everyone is expecting to hear. It's important to speak your mind, and there's no need to worry about treading on anyone's toes or sounding outrageous because that isn't very likely at all. If you're talking to someone, your conversation may take an unconventional turn that you weren't expecting.
