Just wondering if anyone else has done this? How do you like it and do I realistically have a chance of getting a permanent job as a peak seasonal temp worker?

The full time employees basically run the temps and some of them, well most of them aren't nice to the temps. You may get hired on but it may not be the same job you were doing as a temp. Many start in returns on Trade St and end up on Mercer walking 10-13 miles a day and quit within a week. If you keep your numbers up and don't get involved with the drama there you will be ok. It is not temperature controlled at all and absolutely no cell phones allowed. Basically you go in with your car key and lunch in disposable bags and you will be fine. Good luck.

If you are working for Integrity they have probably F**ked you over already. If not, you will very likely get a call on Christmas eve that you are fired or show up for work and not be able to get in. If you are let go prior to Christmas, you can expect that they will have cut your pay rate and your final check will be much less than you expect. They hire 1500 for peak, about 10 get hired. Good Luck!
Another FYI, before Christmas anyone with authority is gone to Delaware till after January and you aren't going to get any problems taken care of.

Oh yeah, if you have to go to Integrity's office for anything, go in the morning. The coke hasn't worn off and they are still in a good mood.

I went from temp to full-time in about six weeks, but that was last August and they had a quota to fill for conversions.
If you do your job and haven't pissed off management your chances should be pretty good.
Peak seasonal temps, though? Eh. It's a temporary thing. They triple (or more) the number of people working to get everything done. If you went and they hired you specifically for peak season, don't count on much.
