They charge $250, with tons of no refund clauses. I called, went over the information I had, and needed to bring. All was fine until they got the $250, then all of a sudden the information wasn't enough. They did give the money back, after having to threaten court and theft by deception. Not a real doctor on site. Diona Saxton, the so called doctor, couldn't even read an MRI. And tried to say every other doctor is wrong I guess? Even Bean, one of the best Neurosurgeons in town. Don't waste your time with these AHoles. Unless your having a good day and really want to change that.

You say alot without saying anything at all. I know this place and not only don't they care about your threats, but the last guy to try and get his money back called the cops, who escorted him off the premises and told him never to come back. As well, the only things which get you kicked out with no refund is when you fail a drug test, doctor shop or lie about you information. They tell you this when you call, it is posted on the walls and you sign contracts which say the same thing. You think people should get their money back when they break the law? Sounds to me like you didn't have enough information or current inormation or they just didn't like the way you came acorss. You get a refund for that anyway so no need to exagerate how you are an internet tough guy. Contrary to your belief, you are not entitled to get narcotics. It is people like you who screw it up for everybody.

Does this clinic take insurance? Do you just need a current MRI? I am trying to find a clinic that takes Medicare and that will help me out with all of my back issues, which are well documented and legit. The doctor at Lexington Clinic at Lex Clinic actually told me up front that they would not treat me as a pain patient simply because I did go to a clinic that did not take Insurance! I didn't have ins at the time and my family Dr. referred me there, He said he understood, however there were several "hoops' I had to go thru to get in, I did all that I was suppose to (4 visits) and now owe them a fortune and the dr. was right. I have never been out of state, never sold any...didn't even let anyone know that I got pain meds! I did it legally and took them as prescribed. Because of the law that went into effect no one wants to help those who need to have any type of quality of life. I have not been to any doctor for 3 months and spend 75 percent of my time on heating pads and massagers. I have 2 children to care for, one had CP, is ten and I have to change his diapers, bath him, help him get dressed, do his homework...everything! I cannot do this anymore because I am in constant pain! I don't know where to get help. I want a doctor that treats me respectable and is compasionate..seems impossibe to find. Is this place a decent place and the doctors caring and understanding?
Information Please

What did you mean by "never been out of state?" The reason I ask is because I live in southern Williamsburg, which is basically the same as living in Tennessee. Although my family doctor is in Williamsburg, he also has 2 other offices in Tennessee. Whenever I'm in the hospital, it's always in Jellico or Knoxville Tennessee, as are all of my specialists.
Needless to say, I am older and have several significant medical conditions. I have been a pain management patient for the past 10 years.

Unfortunately though, the pain management facility I was treated at for years is located just south of jellico (about a 25 minute drive from my home)and is apparently moving; thus, leaving me in search of a new facility as close as possible to where I live.

I would be interested in becoming a patient of this clinic if they offer adequete pain management. Although I do have neck and back issues (hernited discs and severe degenerative disc/joint disease) my primary pain problems result from symptoms related to my multiple sclerosis and other auto-immue issues.

I have a number of medical records incuding diagnosis, procedures, hospital records and physican notes from office visits. I also have kept my pharmacy reports for the past 3 years, which show the type and strength of medications I've been taking as my conditons have worsened.
Honestly, I'd just like to know if this facility would be worth my while in making an appointment with. Alot of places are only interested in treating people on a short term basis who have been in auto accidents rather than those with chronic progressive long term pain caused by disease. Also, I know some are not comfortable treating patients with the types of medications I've been taking for a number of years. As most of you know, Ky doesn't have the best reputation for compassionate care regarding pain management.....even for those of us who truly need it!

Any feedback regarding this place or ANY OTHER facility comfortable with treating patients with long term pain would be greatly appreciated. I have absolutely no problem with following even the most strict rules/contract, as long as my pain is properly managed I can comply with any rules necessary.

I was a patient at this fącility' they called me to change my apt. For 7days later and when ii tested clean on my urine exam I was discharged for not testing for medication that ran out 6 days prior to going to the apt that they rescheduled, not my fault. They just wanted to make sure they got my $250, and would not refund my money. But whatcan u do the place is owned by an attorney not the doctor. Steer clear of these rip off artists!!!!!

Goodluck. Your in ky now. My suggestion is keep your oh dr an drive monthly. No dr in this place believes your in pain or are so scared of the feds they keep reducing your med counts while you suffer. Oh i shattered 5 vertabrae 30 yrs ago with 9 back sugeries since so im not a pillhead but a legitimate patient thats suffered for yrs with these pain clinics taking my money for substandard care. Good luck in your search

This person is not telling the truth. Sounds like a disgruntled patient. I have been a patient there for years. I now know the staff and owner. They are not a pill mill and have always treated their patients with caring and respect. In the difficult climate of pain management, they strive to help their patients with their pain and improve their functionality. I have received beneficial injections, PT, medication and sent to see other specialists, which has vastly helped me with my chronic back pain. They do not see a 'high number' of patients daily and do not see but a few out of state patients with special circumstances. They have added nerve blocks and epidurals to their list of services and employ pain trained physicians. Only patients that lie, misrepresent their medical records, don't take the medications appropriately, take illegal drugs or are belligerent, hostile and confrontational, have problems at this clinic. Only then will these bad patients be discharged. And yes, they may not receive their money back after they have taken up the clinics and doctors time, only to fail their drug test. Patients like the one who wrote this note, get mad at the doctor and clinic when it is their behaviors that cause the clinic to discharge them. This would be the same at any other non pain physicians office. Some patients think that they are 'special' and do not have to follow the rules or policies. I have seen my own medications reduced at times. This, as explained to me, if often due to state/federal pain medication rules/laws. These days the pain doctors can only give what they are allowed to give, to REAL pain sufferers. Some patients do not care to understand this or are interested in the medications for other purposes other than relieving their own pain and becoming a more functional person. I have seen the major number of patients stay for years, being treated appropriately by this clinic's doctors. And yes, I have seen a number of patients, like the one who wrote this, leave. Good, the bad ones, once identified, leave or are discharged out of the practice. I say good riddance to any of them and don't let the door hit your butt on the way out. It is the bad patients like this who have made getting legitimate help so difficult. Because of them, the law has cracked down way to hard on good clinics and doctors, making it difficult to find a caring clinic like this able to help its real patients. This clinic has made many good changes over the years(such as now taking insurance) and adding interventional pain procedures to help chronic sufferers like me. I pray to god that the government leaves these few good clinics alone to take care of the many real, chronic pain suffering patients out in the community. So if you are a pain pill seeking, hostile, belligerent, illegal drug taking idiot...DO NOT COME TO MY CLINIC.
