I'm saying I'm surprised you can't find better things to do with your time than conduct a mission against a police department based on a sensationalized-for-profit book relating events from almost 30 years ago. But hey, it's your life and you seem to have a purpose so hopefully you'll get some dirt to delight in. I got a speeding ticket once and everybody around me was going 20 over the limit, too - now that's not fair.

I think in any group of individuals there are people who are corrupt, but as a whole no it is not a corrupt department.

And I do admit that topix is entertaining, but I don't think I'll use it as either a hobby or frustration venting arena. Certainly not a fact finding mission lol. But good luck on digging something up. Hey, I gave you the first complaint! BTW - my teachers exerted control over me growing up, too, and I resented them having authority because I was a silly little kid breaking rules. I grew out of it, though. They were just doing their job.

Not everyone went down that was involved in the BGC. For instance, look at Bizzack and John Y. Brown. Are people really this stupid? Many are still around and gained power. So, yes LPD is still corrupt. SMH!

SMH! your exactly right there were more than a few who got away and bizzack even got caught in a lie about seeing Melanie Flynn after she "disappeared " and the good ol boys of the Lexington police department swept it up and actually said he didn't do anything wrong.that doesn't seem odd to anyone?john y. Brown everyone knows but our police department what kind of crook he was.the things our police department does and gets away with your average citizens would be in prison for it seems that no matter what they do wether its shooting an unarmed suspect or killing someone because of reckless driving its always justified.

I doubt he's much influence in the LPD now. You're really on a mission huh. Bet Bizzack is on his houseboat or farm worrying a lot about you and topix lol. Regardless, he's probably not part of the ongoing and current corruption that you're seeking to discover on a topix forum.

Yawn ..... it's funny the only people affected by dirty cops are people who have questionable history themselves. I've lived in New York, Detroit and LA, home to the most corrupt departments in the US. In 63 years of living not once have I ever been in a position where a dirty cop has effected me. Never once was I harassed or had a dirty cop mistreat me. In fact I've never had a single issue with any cops. All of my friends and family members have had good experiences with law enforcement except one. I had a uncle who was a book maker in Queens and he got boned over by a dirty cop. However here is the kicker, as a family we all agree it's his own damn fault. Dirty cops dont target law biding citizens, no they go after criminals. So if you have an issue with corrupt cops it's because you put yourself in that position.

So if there's corruption 30 years ago, then that is a pattern that is definitely continuing today? You really need to get over this and find something positive and fun to do. Just keep your nose clean and you'll be fine, the conspiracies and corruption won't spill over on ya. It would be interesting what your pattern of criminal activity has been. If you did anything 30 years ago, of course you're still doing it today.

I think he was addicted to crack, stole evidence for a few years and then embezzled money from the city to pay for it. Then he stabbed 3 people after raping them. It was covered up forever, but when he raped and killed that 4 year old child in a satanic ritual, they just had to let him go (right after he retired lol).
