Secret society , why? This is the most deceitful organization that ever was , filled with powerful people at the top and use the little people at the bottom to play the front , where does their funding come from ? They are a cult and about nothing but all the wrong things .

If I remember correctly..in Eastern Star, we do not avow that we believe in "God"...only in a "Supreme Being". I could not have been in Eastern Star otherwise....

That's correct, only a belief in a prime mover is required to join, the gnostic principles of the craft transcend religion, race or creed. Although a holy book is usually involved when it comes to oaths it is not always a bible, in fact shriners invoke the call to Allah in certain ceremonies

I know very little about mason's...They are puzzling to say the least...I know a few mason's...I don't know of anything they have done...except go to meetings about once a week...Seems like its about like a weekly poker game...They;re not allowed to talk about it from what little I've seen...You have to have a sponsor to be able to join...I have always ask myself...Why would a person want to join something that you know nothing about...and can't find anything about them????

Masons, for the most part, are aging weird guys with very, very large bellies who like to pretend they have secrets that are worth hiding. Strangely, all of those "secrets" are widely available on google, youtube, the library, etc. and their true symbolic meanings are far above the intellectual levels of those practicing masonry.

Masons are almost entirely a joke.

Masons are credited with giving over TWO MILLION DOLLARS A DAY to masonic charities. Ask any child who was a free patient at a Shriners Hospital, Burns Center, Scottish Rite Hospital, Eye research, Arteriosclerosis research, learning disabilities research, and many, many more. Do not criticize what you know nothing about. Ask ANY former patient.

I was a patient. The masons kept seeing me and wanting to take me into strange rooms with checkered floors and then turn off the lights and ask me if I was a window's son....I kept telling them no, but they wouldn't believe me. With the lights off, they kept wanting me to touch stuff. I wasn't very comfortable.

I kept asking them if I could see their reptoid overlords, but they wouldn't let me.

Later I learn that a lot of people associate masons with pedophilia...though I don't know what that means yet.

the masons are not evil or devil worshippers.the members of a lodge come from all walks of life from the rich to the livin paycheck to paycheck members.its obvious most have no idea. the masons do not seek to advertise their good deeds.

To those of you who in your ignorance have no idea what the Figurative Masons in the United States do. I can shed some light on things so the next time you talk about us you won't seem so uninformed about us. We all beleive in God. Anything we do in Lodge meetings can be seen in the Holy Bible. We are a fraternity of men. We take good men and make better men out of them. We make charitable contributions to many organizations. The Shriners Hospitals and Burn centers across this nation are just a two of them. We raise money through charitable events to give scholarships to high school graduates right here in Versailles and Midway. We do not solicite members. We want men who want to be Masons. They come to us and ask us to be considered. Then if they are found worthy to receive the Degrees we proceed further. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Therefore learn about something before you comment out of ignorance, that way you will atleast know what your talking about.
