I'm sure the ones who have insight as your cable and isp provider know that these people are parasites. Random charges added to your bill monthly. BLACKOUTS on espn3 so that you will have to buy espnu package to watch any UK ballgames. dvr goes up in price every other month for the same 10yr old technology. Same "classic tv" package you've always had goes up every six months. Everything in "HD" is not! Highest quality is 1080I. Not technically "HD".....on and on and on! This is getting to be a racket for all services. They always offered free installation of internet now its $45...just to have a tech call in my mac address...every tech that has ever came to my house lacks the ability and professional service desired for such a price gouging service. And my damn bill is due every two weeks not a 30 day billing cycle...I'm just tired of this shit. Which leaves me the option of going with Direct TV Dish service. Even after there package incentives go away you'll still pay less than you ever would for Insight...I would encourage you to do the same. Leave a messege if think Insight does this to you.

Hahaha speaking of! I'm paying one of these turds $20 today to activate an outlet. Wtf...when you move in a house, don't you get all of the outlets activated? According to them they don't do that anymore. You have to call...

Maybe it is time to turn the TV off permanently. You will not miss it, give it a month and you will never want to go back. Save yourself the money.

Insight sucks. My first 2 years of service for internet and cable were $89. They said my 3rd year would be $110. I immediately cancelled and switched to Dish Network and only pay $95 for internet, DVR and cable and the internet service and cable are way faster and more reliable than Insight ever was. My tv rarely goes out, even in storms and my internet is twice as fast and I haven't had near the outages I had with Insight.

how is the dish internet? Do you have a router with them? currently, have insight and they keep raising me, but I don't really want to have to buy a router and all. I like that insight's internet comes with one, but maybe they all do now and I am just clueless.

Can you stream good on the dish internet? I have been watching netflix alot that way.

Dish does not have their own internet. They just do cable but their cable prices are a lot more reasonable than Insight. The do a bundle package for the internet through Windstream and is like $35 a month. They provide the router so you don't have to buy it. If you go to the dishnetwork website and call their 1-800 number they can set up the cable and internet and everything for you.

Dish and directv are rip offs just like cable. They aren't cheaper. Yea they may lure u in with that 29.99 per month deal they always advertise but that's for nothing but a few channels no one watches. Plus it goes way up after a year or something. I know bc the last place I lived with my friend, he switched from insight to dish and by the time a person adds all the channels that u already get with insight plus Internet plus the hd and dvr and everything like most people nowadays want, it ends up costing $80-100. And my insight right now is only $85 per month with all that. Dish isn't cheaper

yes it is. I've had Dish 2 years any my bill with DVR, internet and 120 channels is $95 that includes the taxes. After 2 years of Insight my bill just for cable and internet was raised to $110 and that was for LESS channels and NO DVR. Ya the $29.99 is for the first year but they all do the intro rate even insight.

Well idk how u all are getting screwed like that lol but my insight bill has never been more than it is now and I have always had everything. Cable, high speed Internet, the hd/dvr box and the dvr service. One year it was only $77. I moved this year and just transferred service. Yes it went up but only to $85 which is what I pay now. I've had insight for years and its never even been $90 with everything

My Insight bill runs roughly $150 a month. It use to be $165 until I realized they were charging me for channels they originally told me I would get free for a year. Half the channels don't work correctly. The internet is slower than crap because I had to opt for the cheapest speed they have to keep it under $40. Insight is way way way overpriced for the services they offer. Now that they have been bought out by Time Warner I fully expect them to get even worse. The horror stories U have heard about Time Warner make Insight sound good.

Damn man how is your bill so much? What do you do subscribe to every channel and package they offer? Mine is only a little more than half that

Insight is a racket and there is no way anyone with classic cable pack, dvr, internet not paying at least $100. The biggest problem I spoke of was not having espn3 or espnu and getting blacked out in my own viewing area so you have to buy the even more expensive worthless package. That is FCC worthy of investigating there business practices period. Customer service reps are mouth breathers that dont know customer service if it slapped them up side there nappy heads. Reading from a sheet of paper for conclusions and results is pathetic. Just like KU is the only gig in town. Were all screwed bottom line. makes living off the grid and stealing the services seem worth it. Oh but wait if I steal then it will make all your bills go even higher...Anyway on and on.......................

Dish Network does have Internet, I just moved and when I did it was offered to me. It's called Dishnet, they also mounted my 2 tv's which the guy told me that they are getting into doing a lot of home service jobs. I have had Dish Network for 3 years and love it, I use my iPad a lot and I can view any channel I have in real time.. Can not ask for more..

until any of you ever work there you have no right to down a company bigger than where you work. they in no way cheat customers. the same way groceries and gas prices increase YEARLY so does luxuries such as cable. Internet. phone. movies. anything. it's all based on economy. a company can't run business if channels like espn charge that company more for that channel. ever though that dish and insight have no control over the prices of the channels? well. newsflash. those are actual stations. so espn and abc and all those are in charge of their prices. so they have to negotiate with their clients to see what can be paid easily for the company and the customers so you don't lose those channels all together.
