Does anyone on here get their hair done by a salon called Fleet Street Hair Salon? I believe they are downtown Lexington around Limestone. If anyone can tell me their experience good or bad that would be helpful! I am looking for an edgy salon nothing like the Posh Salon where they butchered my tresses! Thanks for your help!

One of my friends had a horrible experience and one of them had a great one. It must matter who you go to.

I would not reccomend getting your hair done there. I went in for a root touch up and she convinced me to add some layers around my face. I walked out of there with a pixie cut that was layered around my face. For reference before Jessica got her hands on ,my once long flowing hair was very healthy and almost to my elbows. Ugg. Im still trying to recover from this!

Oh dear if your hair was to your elbows than you needed it cut. Once your past grade school it's time to get a cut that fits your age group.

You have no idea what I look like! I used to get compliments on a weekly basis on how gorgeous and long my hair was. She knew what I wanted done and did something completely different of what I asked. How would you feel if you wanted a trim and your hairdresser shaved your head or dyed your hair orange? My advice to the orignal poster is try the place out but I dont recommend that particular stylist because she does not know how to please or listen to the client!

I just dont get this hair salon! Im friends with their salon page on facebook and they are always coming up with something really sexy or have some sexy photoshoot with beer everywhere but can anyone actually cut hair? They seem to be more into making a witty name for themselves instead of investing in quality hairdressers. I went in once to buy some products and all of the employees looked like just rolled out of bed and through on a ton of makeup and mismatched clothes. IS this supposed to be edgy or something? Is sloppy the new cool? But I guess it doesnt really matter what you wear if you are sipping margaritas all day.

The stylist dont have the proper training to be cutting-holding scissors.when it comes to color fleet street is a learn as you go labratory.if you dont mind inexperienced arrogant ego obsessed kitchen beauticians getting a hold of your locks them fleet street is the place for you.if you are 12 or 13 and have short hair and dont mind letting someone play in your hair and your parents will drop you off in this dreadful neighborhood them go for it you are young and edgy and your hair will grow back. If you take your hair seriously or or you are a professional you already know fleet street is not the place for you.

They put something like manic panic in my hair that looked like black cherry kool-aid.a total lousy color job that i had to spend a few hundred to have fixed.they apoligized and gave me my money back but it was too late i was a guinea pig to unqualified beauticians my mistake.i was nervous about going to that bad part of town anyway i just thought it was someone edgy and hip doing hair there what a shock i had will never go back.they werent trained in hair school!they badly need retraining.

I saw there stickers on a sign downtowm and went in for a half inch trim and walked out with an uneven mess. I went to walmart and the girl fixed my hair but it was too late i ended up with a pixie.

The girls are just inexperienced! I think they should quit butchering peoples hair and instead open up a hang out coffee lounge. The stylist are below average, straight out of cosmo school and ready to cut up your hair. However, they seem to have busy buisness which is crazy from the results I have seen!

Everyone with a license to do hair has a license to wax, that's why they are called cosmetologist.
