This stuff is dangerous. It is being sold all over. It is not a safe alternative to the real stuff. This garbage is being made overseas and the refinement process is crude at best. Nothing natural about it at all. False sense of safety that will impact our kids.

If people don't educate themselves about what they put in their bodies, that's their own fault.

If its adults yes they have a responsibility to educate themselves. However teens are buying & using this substance
When in my opinion one should be at least age 18
before they're allowed to purchase it.

The issue is, it's intended to be used as something else.
If we start banning substances or submitting it to age restrictions, what's next? Making people have to be 18 to buy glue because people sniff it? Banning spray paint?

Forgot part of my last comment.

People can turn anything into a substance. We can't ban or restrict the sale of everything...

If synthetic marijuana had been a viable contender in the texttiles market it would have likely been banned also. Do some reading.

Totally agree. Which is why I never understand why the GOP is supposed to be the party of individual freedom...though that's hardly the case anymore.

I agree. Somewhat. It's just sold with false pretenses and a false sense of safety. We still have an obligation to protect our youth.

All drugs that are being sold/used for reasons other than intended are done so with false safety.

No, youth are the ones who are turning bath salts, incense, etc into alternatives for illegals substances.
So we need to address the real problem instead of being reactive and banning everything they start using. It's only going to make them move to something else. Won't solve anything.

Whether it be synthetic marijuana or anything else phizer, merck, johnson & johnson, glaxosmithcline invents it is all the same poison. The only difference being that the pharmaceutical companies did not get to it first, otherwise it would be legal.

Follow the money.

Lets reel in the pharmaceutical companies first, they do more harm than the synthetic marijuana does, not that one is better than the other but the pharmaceutical companies have more garbage out there than the synthetic marijuana.

education it's the key and no more slaps in the hands for this kind of offense.

The reason why people do any fake drug is because IT DOESNT SHOW UP IN DRUG TESTS! MAke a drug test for it & I bet the popularity goes down. Its just not teens buying the crap its mostly for people to still get high on papers in my opinion.

In my opinion, the synthetic marijuana is very dangerous and LEGAL, yet the REAL marijuana is NOT dangerous and illegal. Sad, really! If they would make the real stuff legal, even with certain restrictions, there would be no probelms with all this synthetic crap thats out there.

Every place I have seen this stuff sold requires you to be 18yrs old..if an adult buys it and gives it to juvenile how's that the stores fault?should we ban gas sold in gas cans for your lawn mower because your kid huffs it the shed?how about hair spray?how about glue?if u consume to much water it can be toxic should we limit that also?what about spray paint?...the herbal incense is clearly fabled not for human consumption..look on the side of bleach it also tells you not to consume it...some where along the line common sense has to come into play...

You can usually get it at any head shop, or certain gas stations. BP station over by BGAD used to sell it... I have to agree with previous post though. Legalize the real stuff and solve SO MANY problems at once. Think about how much revenue could be generated? Alcohol is three times as dangerous as marijuana ever dreamed of being, and if it can be purchased and sold legally, there's no reason marijuana shouldn't. It's high time (no pun intended, lol) pot received a pardon.
