Now how Kinzie Noordman receive 40 years to life and Guerrero receive 15 years to life and he pulled the trigger.

This is why I think we should have professional jurors.
This makes the jury system a mockery. All it took was one stupid juror to change the outlook of Guerrero's trial.

Hopefully he'll get his justice in the rear for the next 15 years. But, I don't know how this is any "deal" for the State (meaning, us law abiding citizens) if it means this idiot can get out after ONLY 15 years. Despite the attorney stating that there is not guarantee he will be released - to that I say please and whatever, as a white boy, from middle class america, young and stupid when he committed this crime, feels remorseful...they'll let him out!

Let's hope folks band together when this killer comes up for parole, a la Susan Atkins, and gives a loud NO for allowing him free on the streets.

His parents should be ashamed and disgusted with him. When my daughter was this age, she would have been GRATEFUL the law arrested her before I got to her, her fate in my hands would be much worse than what any jury would sentence her too, and that's a fact (ask her!).

This has nothing to do with race or class. This is a failure of the system. When people sit on a jury these days they think emotionally and not factually.
This guy is one to watch out for should he ever leave prison. If he was manipulated by a teenage girl to pull a trigger, imagine how manipulated he will be by fellow prisoners and the system!
May he find a spot in his heart and let it weep for Kelly everyday for the rest of his life.

Kinzie shot Kelly in the head and killed her. Damien only wounded her. That's why she basically got life and he did not. Duh. Learn the case before you reply, idiot (referring to JUJ).

Regardless of who shot who...HE still shot her too. Im sure he didnt think to himself 'Im only going to hurt her' Generally speaking, if you point a gun at someone and pull the trigger you are trying to inflict major bodily harm and in this case...Kelly's death. Im very sorry to hear this. Many years ago, when I was a teenager my friend Justin Hopper was killed in a similar way, in close proximety to where Kelly was murdered. Guerro and Noordman were both there with intent to hurt and or kill her beause of jealousy or whatever. They should BOTH get LIFE IN PRISON!!! Does society *really* think that these losers are going to be rehabilitated after 10-15 years in prison???!!!??? If they would do this to someone as teenagers, what do you think they would be capable of as seasoned criminals straight out of the penitentiary?

Im sorry to the Bullwinkles. Hopefully this can bring you some type of closure/peace. RIP Kelly.

Lets see, Guerrero shot Bullwinkle in the head and that did not kill her! Your the type of jurors that defense attorneys love. I guess there were witness's there that said she was still alive with a bullet in her head so Noordam shot her again. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE. They both are equally guilty.

Obviously this poster knows nothing about the legal system, much less the case but wants justice at all cost. However, the fact was that Guerrero admitted he shot her and she wasn't dead, as her body went into convulsions. They both agree that they either one freaked out, and alleged in their story that they didn't want her to suffer more so Noordam pulled the trigger the second time, and killed her.

I agree without being a juror that either one are culpable, but to what degree? One shot her and probably mortally wounded her, but the other killed her. To me its all a waste. A waste of Bullwinkle's life, of Noordam and Guerrero's inso much that Redlands Community Hospital was only less than a mile away if it was an "accident" as the defense claimed.

you forget the fact that Damian's shot did not kill her, however Kinzie gave the second and fatal shot, so I think the jury did a good job
