They keep just taking and taking and not giving. I am not going to talk about the bonuses, raises, or the guaranteed 8% they have taken. We need to take a stand against them and quit letting them run over us. I don't want to become a union, but we need to stand up together and make our voice be heard. We could get together and all call in one day if that don't work call in three or take the whole month of July off. Everyone complains but no one does anything about it. We need a plan. 1

george im with you 100%. problem is that we are the minority and would never have the support required for such. i wont get into the uneducated people of ky that dont feel they deserve any better in life... but there's their sign. they keep supporting this company while watching their pay/benefits dissipate. go figure

The fact that you think the disappearance of your benefits and bonuses is to be blamed on Toyota makes you both look ignorant. This is happening all across the state, and the country. If you don't like your job, quit. Plenty of people would love to have it. Go to work anywhere else in manufacturing within the Central Ky area. Both your benefits and bonuses would be much worse.

The reply of the ignorant, uneducated worker......just keep being stupid, in time your benefits and bonuses will be matching those of the places you think are worse

When the plant first opened they bragged about over 85% of the workforce having a college education and they were very competitive with the big 3. Now they have 85% morons that they know will be happy to move out of their house trailers. You left whatever job you had before to come work at toyota...and you did it for the PAY! You greedy fucking bastard, you should go back to your old job!

Do your homework before you post. Honda of America in Marysville, Ohio makes $2 less on the hour. They had their pensions froze last year and 65% of their labor is temps. My brother in law has worked there 19 years and can't get a day job because temps get the preference of shifts. They don't have a 5 and 10% shift premium. It's .25 and .35. And I won't even start on the Detroit 3. They make more but are laid off or on strike 40% of the time.

And here we go with the great rhetoric from people who have no argument. Please post us the link where the big 3 is laid off or on strike 40% of the time. While you're at it, post us the link of all the times they have been on strike in the last 10 yrs. do YOUR homework before spreading lies. Somebody may call you out! Enjoy your pay cut this year pal...then come back bragging about how smart you are. Lmao

I don't know where else you can go and make $15-16 an hour starting. I worked a job for 10 years, was a team leader, and 2nd in command. I made $13.00 after 10 years.

We constantly had record sales, reduced out scrap by 90%. Recycled material for cash in which was given back to the company to cover shipping supplies. No bonuses for that. Insurance that cost so much, you couldn't afford to use it. No over time. Was a Fortune 500 company.

So what did I do? I pleaded my case for a honest raise, and did it professional. Proved my savings, and our branches record sales. And notified them that if actions did not happen, I'd be leaving the company I invest so much time in. Guess where I don't work anymore!

Plain and simple, if you don't like it, take action on a professional level. Your actions or warnings aren't taken seriously, leave.

But what you bitter people don't realize is, Toyota is a great place to work. They offer a lot, including great pay, college assistance, a clean and safe work area. Good luck finding that type of pay else where.

Spoken like a true resident of the impoverished south. The same attitude that has the south lagging 20 yrs behind the rest of the world. You work for one of the richest companies in the entire world and eagerly accept the companies plan of REDUCING your pay/benefits for every year of employment you provide them. I would love to see your plan at work...go into toyota Monday morning and professionally tell them how hard you work and ask for a .10 cent raise!!!!

And what's cool is that you supported arrogant pricks like me by taking a pay cut every year while I was getting a raise! Now who's the fool?

The problem is that you have been "living under a rock" at Toyota and shielded from the rest of the World. It is really bad out there. There are people who would kill for half of what you make. So, when someone tells you to be happy that you have a job, they mean it.

That's really a good reason to never strive for more in life! Maybe the whole world could go communist and we all work for min wage? The problem is that YOU are sheltered from the real world, living in the impoverished south and don't know the rest of the america actually looks at your factory job in the same manner you view Chinese kids working in sweat shops. And nothing will ever change as long as you accept your lot in life. You only get one!!! I chose to make the most possible of mine...and yes, appreciate it along the way

Yesterday was my last day at TMMK. My nsp date is Jan 13th. Other than going in for 8 hours next year I'm done with Toyota. Toyota no longer cares for who builds it products , don't think they have for sometime. I suggest you get or finish your education and get out soon.temp services are everywhere inside the plant. Areas taking a 20 base pay cut after being at the same level since the beginning is not right. All jobs that are not considered value added will be taking a 20% cut in pay soon. Good luck with the future or lack of future working for Toyota .
