If your trying to say that's he's an awesome priest and a wonderful man of God then yes, hmm I guess. Do you need to go to confession or something? By all means.

Awesome???
How much debt did St. Johns add under his watch?
And confession is something we all need to do often.
Deadpool, By the way, do you know what constitutes mortal sin.?
Do you know what the criteria is for being a heretic?
and can you define what heresy is?

As long as my priest is OK with me trolling the bathhouses for hot and steamy unprotected man on man encounters then I am fine. Is this priest fine with my nightly ritual?

This is not a priestly answer unless you mean a satanic priest..
Stating the Catholic Church does not condemn you to any lost soul committing mortal sin is tantamount to trying to make them believe that what they are doing is OK.
REDICULOUS !!!! NO GODLY MAN WOULD MAKE THAT STATEMENT !!!!

Directing them to the teachings of the Church (CCC Catechism of the Catholic Church) would be a priestly endeavour.
Your answer can only be designed to enable the sinners behavior and impune the Catholic Church which teaches the bible and tells sinners they cannot receive the Body Blood Soul and Divinity of CHRIST when they are in a state of Mortal sin.

Your answer is straight out of the "pits of hell". Is that where you got it?

The church is made of people. Only God can condemn. Is anyone ever in a state of sinlessness. Aren't we always in a state of mortal sin? I can't see that any catholic would be qualified to receive the body. Blood, soul, divinity. Not even the Pope could meet those standards. He is a man too.

YES ! FOR 1, The newly baptized... of couse. BUT THERE ARE MORE. You and I cannot know the condition of a person's soul except to see their actions while in the act. WE BELIEVE IN GOD's ( what seems to be ) INFINITE MERCY. How can we know if even the most hardened of hearts repents or not. Is not repentance the path to forgiveness. AND IF our sins are as far as the east is from the west are we in a " state of Grace"?(Amazing Grace).
The Church interprets the bible. The teachings as laid out in the CCC (Catechism). Any "good" priest would show you the teachings. Just because he is a priest does not mean he cares about yous salvation (though most do).
There are plenty of priest who care much more about their golf game then the padish they shepherd.

Ok. I know nothing of the CCc. I can see that the newly baptized remain sinless, but only for minutes, as our human (thus selfish) natures and thoughts return.

Actions are a poor representation of the soul's condition, as we can't analyze motives for actions.

Again, I'm not catholic, and have never understood the "rules" therein. These are my Christian beliefs, that we are all sinners who are redeemed by accepting Jesus' sacrifice. However, our struggle begins anew everyday, because we are cursed with a sinful nature.

You should test the water. You seem quite orthodox. I would suggest listening to 94.9 fm or 1380 am Monday thru Friday from 6 to 8 pm. CATHOLIC ANSWERS. IT IS A FAITHFUL Catholic program. The answers you get will be truthful. If you seek the answers locally ?????? Well let's just go where we know we can find VERITAS.
Ask questions here. I'm sure truth can be exposed on a public forum. Where people are much more afraid to lies. Their identity could be exposed and embarrassment might ensue.

What is the best ??? Never preach and never offend. Or... preach and risk offending.

Preach the Gospel always and when you have to, use words.

I've listened before, but to a non catholic it just sounds like voodoo talk. If you aren't brought up as a catholic, it's very difficult to accept.

I was about to leave the Church when I was listening to protestant radio programs. I, like most Catholics didn't have a clue. What is even more amazing is how you could ask a question of our priest and get varied answers when in fact the Church is very clear in Her teachings. Father linh here in Georgetown teaches his own liberal brand of catholocism. I doubt seriously if he has ever read the CCC. He has stated he does not agree with the Church teachings and the Church does not condemn him.
