Love Thy Lexington Neighbor?

NOT!!!

I live on the southwest side of Lexington just off of Krissy Way. Granted it isn't the best part of town, but I don't feel like I should have to accept my neighbors way of living simply because I am somewhat financially challenged. Why is it I can't get the Lexington police to take my complaints seriously?

Around the corner from me lives this nasty old biker guy. In the summer I have to deal with his drunken episodes of whiny Willie Nelson wailing at full volume, night after night. The same recordings, sometimes even the same song, 15 or 20 times....over and over again! Then I had to make a choice between running my a/c constantly, or moving my twins cribs into my living room to keep his cigar and pot smoke from drifting into the babies bedroom. Finally, I approaced some neighbors about getting a petition together to take to the police, hoping they might at least have a talk with this jerk. But I found out that most of the neighbors are afraid of approaching this guy. Apparently, he has some kind of prescription for pain killers and those who don't want to lose their connection, are afraid that his mixture of narcotics and alcohol will cause him to get mad or take revenge on them. Supposedly, this hippy artifact has an anger management problem, a conceal and carry license, preaches the typical anti-establishment neo-nazi rhetoric, and is usually armed. Then to top it off, an anonymous note on my car warned me he had "tons of firearms and ammunition in that house" and that I should keep my mouth shut!

It's bad enough that I have to deal with is lack of respect for others living in the neighborhood with his obnoxiously loud motorcyle waking my now teething children (EVERYTIME I seem to be able to get them to sleep), his drunk driving between the local Caddy Shack pool hall and his home, the illeged drug distribution and loud episodes of Willie Nelson; but now I have to live with being threatened by him and his leather jacketed TFO buddies! When is someone going to do something?

maybe you should move, I know you shouldn't have to, but if you are being threatened, and the police wont do anything I think I would put my children first and not think about my rights.
