All you church goers keeping silent while those brave few risk a strong backlash from the gay community, you all should be ashamed. The pro church group is growing dim while gay rights are proclaiming victory wildly in the streets. For people (the gays) who "preach" tolerance and acceptance, they have none of either for people with opposing viewpoints.

No not when they are shoved down peoples throats by people blathering about things that are in a man made book. Which by the way he misquoted. It's easy to pick and choose what you want to believe when your a Wensday and Sunday Christian as opposed to one who lives by the word.

You're changing the subject. I agree with some of what you are saying but I'm talking about apples and you are talking about oranges. I'm not defending people who call themselves Christians, but rather condemning the hypocrisy, intolerance and bigotry of the gay rights people. We all have our own sins and no sinner is lesser or greater, but the gay rights people are intolerant of opposing viewpoints and that is what makes me sick. And also, the relationship between a man and a woman is a beautiful thing, even though marriage is gone down the gutters and conflict and discord is so prevalent I can understand people being frustrated with opposite sex relations, but I still think its unnatural and one should just choose to be alone if they don't want to do it.

Ok I will keep an open mind to what you are saying and I agree to a point. Considering Christians are people and Gays are people we as a human race are prone to be imperfect and make mistakes. Apparently the Hypocrisy, intolerance and bigotry lie on both sides of the fence. As far as relationships go whether it be between the same or opposite sex they can be a beautiful thing when people respect, honor, and communicate honestly with their partner, regardless of gender

you make a good point. My beliefs come from the heritages and traditions that have been passed down to me from generation to generation. I honor those traditions and beliefs but I can understand and appreciate people having different beliefs. I believe in religious and personal freedom, the right of a person to live according to the dictates of their own conscience. I believe in the right to be left alone. I don't believe humans are condemned from birth and must be saved. I don't believe we are scum and unworthy beings. I believe we are beautiful and love beings and our Creator loves and protects us. We didn't ask to be here and life can be pretty crappy at times. I believe life is a gift and we should live and enjoy it.

I disagree with almost everything in your post including your tact. Luckily both I and Phil should have the right to disagree and do it respectfully.

You are right you should have the right to disagree and to me I am open to people not agreeing with what I said. As far as my tact goes well that can be debatable but I meant what I said. I wasn't disrespectful at all, that's been my experience with most Christians.

Considering Phil in his ultimate biblical wisdom also said blacks were happier before the civil rights movement, yeah right on Wayne.

Another example of an uneducated Christian claiming gays to be an abomination. These people are dying out year by year but the damage and discrimination they perpetuate against the LGBT community has longterm psychological impact that costs The US economically

I don't really get why people like that show. It's horribly scripted and not entertaining at all.

Right on Wayne! So sick of the queer lifestyle being shoved down our throats. Now that you mention it, everyone was happier then.

I believe gays have equal rights and say...they have a path to go to Hell just like those straight people that dont accept Jesus Christ as their savior and his word.

This is politics. A&E is engaged in Anti Religious Bigotry and are part of the left's army of thought police.

A&E statement:
" His personal views in no way reflect those of A&E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community."

Since A&E are strong liberal supporters of the LGBT community hopefully the Duck Dynasty stars will leave that network and take their viewership and ratings to a network who don't HATE them for their religious beliefs.

I agree that you, Phil, or anyone else has the right to disagree with the gay lifestyle and do it respectfully...but that was just the problem. He didn't exactly do it respectfully. He claimed homosexuality would morph into bestiality, men running around with this woman and that woman, etc. He also placed them in the same category with drunks and terrorists. That's anything but respectful. If he loves all of humanity, homosexuals included, as he now claims, then why didn't he simply state that, as a Christian, he did not condone homosexuality and leave it at that? Gays already know that Christians are against their lifestyle. That's no big surprise to them. But when Christians speak of them in such an offensive way, then of course they are going to object and I don't blame them.

it's alright as long as the queers get to flaunt their lifestyle and talk about tolerance but when someone has a different view, they try to systematically destroy them. fuckinghypocrites
