You know, grass being blown out in the street has never bothered me. I clear mine, but when others don't, I don't care! I've got more pressing issues, like cleaning house, cooking, cleaning, my job, etc... I'd just be happy there aren't drug making/selling going on in my neighborhood.
I'm guessing you're about to piss your pants with excitement, watching all neighbors with phone in hand!

To me it ruins the look of the neighborhood when you blow grass out into the srteet. I've never done and can't stand when the people around me do it!! There a guy two doors down from me will let his grass get a a foot tall before he mows and when he does he blows it all out in the street. What's worse is if I've just cleaned my truck up I have no choice but to drive threw it, I really wish he'd one mow sooner or two use a mulching mower!!

Wow , You two have a lot to worry about !!! Most of the people in this town are worried about some druggie coming in our houses and stealing us blind while we work !!! I think both of you should find a hobby ! I would rather have a little grass in the street than have either one of you for a neighbor ! Mind your own business !

How about junk around the houses, the city doesn't do anything about that. I doubt they will enforce cleaning up grass.

True. Grass isn't the eyesore that junk is. The wind will blow the grass away or the rain with wash it away.

If that bothers you, you ought to move to the country. When the city/county men come out to mow the sides of the road, they leave a huge mess. Guess what.... We deal with it!!! Imagine that.

I do have pride and I do work! You're upset over grass, for Pete's sake! You need to get a home owners organization. Then you can dictate! That or go out there and clean it up yourself! I'd do that before I played tattle tail!

Iris, good for you, grass goes into the drains and pollutes the water. I wish I had a neighbor like you instead of people who park junk trucks and cars on blocks in their yards and calling the city has not helped.

u r right, tina. grass in the street is a sheer sign of laziness. nothing more and nothing less. the fat asses who set on their mowers and blow that grass into the street would be pissed if someone blew that grass into their driveways or onto their vehicles. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....just had an idea. next time one of these fat, lazy slobs chooses to blow their grass into the street, get out a blower and blow it back onto their property. see how fast they bitch about that. anyone else game?

Grass don't bother me. But I walk every day. People who park on the sidewalks, Have tree limbs hanging over the side walks, or broken sidewalks are the ones that bother me. And all the vacant houses with the tall grass in the yards. Why doesn't the city do something about that.

It is lazy and rude. And furthermore it could run into our street drains.

Hey. heres a thought or an idea, folks. next time you see one of those bozos mowing their grass out onto the sidewalk, onto the streets or onto someone else's vehicle, take a big ole rake or blower, pile it up and throw it in their driveway or onto there truck. see how they like it then and it does wash down into the drains and clogs up our drainage system. lazy is as lazy does, so them that are lazy r the ones who blow their grass into the street. i agree with some of the other posters. now, them that don't want to stop blowing there glass into the street are the ones who will make negative comments about my post or make them silly judge signs, watch and see.

How about people who toss cigarettes out their windows into people's yards and onto the streets, this gets into the water too. It is also a fire hazard. Please smokers, be more considerate with your butts.

My daughter and her husband were in a motorcycle accident due to grass in the street. Her pelvis is crushed and she has a broken arm and wrist. The grass caused them to skid and into a oncoming car. Before you blow your grass in the street think about who you could hurt.
