You need to watch out when you go to the Arby's in Nicholasville because the boss there is very irrogant and is a very smart ass. He cursing at his wife in front of customers and employees and he also curses at the front line employees like they are nobody. You don't won't to work at this place. Because you will never see a raise the whole entire time that you work there under this management. He wants you to work your ass off and never get anything for doing it. Some of the employees aren't very clean either.

Are you kidding me? This has been quite a few months ago...and im not lying. We went in there...ordered...and then we told the girl that we werent happy with the small amount of food for the big price and we wanted to cancel it. She got her boss and he came up and we told him we had changed our minds and just wanted our money back. We tried to tell her before they made the food...but it was too late by the time he came up front. We didnt want anything free. And he got pissed off and said well fine then..you can take your money somewhere else and have them make your food and then tell them...hey we dont want it now. Yeah go on and take your fucking business elsewhere. He opened the drawer and gave my bf the money. Then there was an elderly couple behind us that had just come in and my bf tole him that he had no right to treat us that way. It was an honest mistake. Then the guy came around the counter and got in my bfs face and said to get the hell out of his store. And my bf asked for the arbys store manager.

He said i am the store manager...i am the owner...and as far as im concerned i am god on this property. I own the ground your standing on so get the fuck put of here before i call the cops. My bf told him...what is the regional number? He said none of your damn business. Get the fuck out of my store now! Yelling. We left...but seriously he was rude. All bc we didnt think that was enough food for us for the price. I loved that place until he acted like that. We werent trying to scam him..we didnt want free food...were not moochers...we just changed our minds. People do that...so YOU dont know what youre talking about. I doubt you were there. The place was practically empty. It was late afternoon during the slow time. I dont eat at the arbys bc that guy is a dick.

When you ordered the food and they prepared it for you, you entered into a contract for the purchase price of the food. At that point you were obligated to pay for it.

You breached that contract when you requested to rescind the sale. He had every right to demand payment and/or - if you refused to pay - take legal action against you.

If you then tried to interfere with his business by attempting to persuade other customers not to do business with him, that could subject you to legal action as well.

Although if you were cursed at it was most certainly unprofessional, the anger was justified.

I'm not sure what you do for a living - but if you're a florist and you spend time making making an arrangement only to have the customer say "I change my mind" I dare say you'd be a bit upset too?

If your habit became commonplace, either the restaurants would go out of business or the price of everything on the menu would double - to pay for all the lost product when someone "changed their mind."

Perhaps you should spend some time considering the consequences of your actions?

Excuse me...ive worked in plenty of restaurants...people do this all the time. I have never...nor have ANY of my bosses acted like this towards a customer or in front of a customer...its unproffessional. And we tried to tell the girl we changed our minds real quick. But she didnt hear us bc she went over to the drive thru window. We werent asses about it. He had no right to come around the counter at me bf i dont care who you are. Its not like he cant sell it in 15 minutes anyway. We never touched it. But he had NO right to curse at us...or come around the counter like he did over something as small at that. He needs to learn how to control his temper...thats not good management skills. Im surprised a man like that still has the place open with as many complaints as there are.

And by the way..we didnt pursuade the other customers not to do business there...we simply asked for phone numbers and the bastard flew off the handle. We never ONCE spoke to anyone but him and the girl that worked there. I still think arbys should know about this stores customer service in particular. Im sorry...but yes we admit that we shouldnt have ordered until we were ready...but there was NO reason for him to act like that. And if i was a florist...i would be a little uoset but i wouldnt act like that to a customer...i would resale what ive already created...its not that big of a deal.

So... Were you lying in post #6 where you said your boyfriend spoke to the elderly couple behind you?

Or, are you lying in post #14 when you state you never ONCE spoke to anyone but him and the girl what worked there?

Both of you...excuse me...but reread this...from post 6 i beLieve i said..then there was an elderly couple behind us that had just came in and my bf tole (supposed to be told) him (refering to the manager...Not the couple) that he had NO right to treat us that way. If my bf had talked to the couple i wouldve put THEM! Oh yeah, the customer is always right. So according to yoU, we became a customer after they recieved our money. Well if the customer is always right...and they happen to change their mind...before they touch or give the food...its allowable.and he did give us our money back...that wasnt the issue anyway. Arbys isnt losing money bc they can resale it within 15 minutes. And for the LAST time, we didnt want anything free. By the way...ive NEVER recieved free food. And i always tip people for a job done well. Anything else you wanna try to pull up gentlemen?
