Please stop this little girl pageant mania. It's crazy to try and wh0re up children in make-up, hair, nails, and dress.
No good can come of it.
All you have to do is watch one episode of child pageants on tv. All the parents have a warped sense of right and wrong and it shows. Stop this madness!

Until u experience the pageant world don't make hateful comments. My daughter is 5 and loves them also. They are nothing like the TV makes them out to be. The TV takes out all the good and leaves all the bad. Those pageant shows have made a bad name for pageants. Pageantry is a sport just like any other sport. I would not make my daughter do them if she told me she didn't want to. There is no reason to hurt some ones feelings by being ride and mean. If you are going to be that way just don't say anything at all

My opinion is you are wrong. There is no reason to put make-up, fake nails, fake teeth and inappropriate dresses on a child to give the appearance of being a mini-you-adult hooker.

Children are children and should be treated as such. Not like tiny adults.

Cheerleading is a sport. Gymnastics is a sport. Wee-ball, basketball, football, soccer, etc are all sports. Surely you see the difference.

Pageants are not a sport. It's a make believe fantasy world in which irresponsible parents "dress up" (I will use that phrase instead of the earlier one I used of "wh0re up") their innocent children in inappropriate costumes and parade them in front of other equally irresponsible adults. Those pageants are NOT emotionaly healthy for kids. It distorts and disrupts childhood. It is also a magnet for perverted adults.

How does a 5 year old know what they really want or like? A five year old has not been alive long enough to make distinctions as to what they like and do not like. They do not have the life experience to make those sorts of decisions as they have absolutely nothing to compare it to. Kids like chocolate, candy, ice cream, but that does not mean they should eat it all the time, simply because they like it.
