I was dissaponted to discover last Thursday that the April Adele Book cafe has closed it's doors for good. It opened on main street last July and I absolutely loved the little place. It is too bad that it didn't even make it a full year in our town. I really enjoyed the books you could buy and the baked goods you could eat there, and the free wi-fi and great atmosphere that was there. It really is just too bad. I have seen this happen to store after store on our little main street.

seriously? Great coffee? she handed you a keurig cup and you made it yourself. there wasnt much atmosphere because it was usually empty that it when it was open. A real coffee shop would work in Versailles, something like common ground in lexington. Be open late! Have some live music! Make real coffee!

I went there once. I wanted a diet cola or energy drink and a pastry. No colas, no energy drinks, and frozen pastry was still cold.
I told her that she should do some sandwiches, soups, or salads and she said she didn't have a kitchen. With imagination and a convection oven she could have been busy.
