How many times does your boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife call you a day? When is it too many? Just your thoughts and experiences please.

I think twice a day is more than enough unless its important or emergency. Any more than is obsession and controling.

It depends. If you're treating them like they're a nuisance and yet you're telling them that you love them, you're playing mind games.
If they call and give them their due, if you do that and then they call all the time, they're the problem.
If they call and you start barking at them and moaning at the idea that you might have to have a conversation with them, all the while, you're sooo in love, you're the problem and are manipulating them.

If you're split up, once a day is entirely too many. You're also an idiot if you do it. Self restraint and self respect is so important. If you don't, you're going to look like a fool. Best to let it go and save face.

I've seen it happen and it's embarrassing. Actually it's pathetic. Why would anybody want someone that don't want them? Blows my mind.

How do you figure? You can see things happening in other peoples lives. It don't mean it has to be me. Simple enough! You know....you can see friends and family going through some sh!t, you tell ten to stop bugging them they don't want you. They don't listen. Might as well save your breath. People are so hardheaded.

Not asking about people who have broke up. How pathetic is it if someone calls his/her boyfriend/girlfriend 40, 50, 60, times a day. That person/persons messed up. Trying to show them that it can lead to no good.

Who looks like a fool, the person making one or two calls a day or the one receiving 40 to 70. And the one making the 40 to 70 calls. I feel so sorry for these people. They are lost in a world of obsession.Got the detailed bills right here to prove it.

No need for names just trying to help someone out. By showing them what other people think of the situation. Some times it is hard to see the forest for the trees. They think they are in love and being rational. They have their phone bill. I just got to see it.

Any one who has phone service can get a detailed bill if they ask for it. Back in the day it used to be standard, now you have to ask or go online.

So you're talking about new love!? That's different! When love is new, you can't get enough of each other, as time goes on, it settles down. Everybody knows that and it's normal. It's a way of building on their new relationship.
You can't stop wait to see them again. You want to spend every moment you can together.

I don't see how grown people pushing 50 years old can act this way. Don't they have jobs. Don't their co-workers and bosses see what is going on in the work place. I'm paying my employees to work not make phone calls all day long. How can they be focused on their work if all they can think about is the next phone call. This averages out to 5 to 9 call a hour and that doesn't include the texts. If I got that many calls I would want to chuck the phone. I get irritated when I get 5 calls a day when I am working.

It really doesn't matter how old you are, it's new and makes you feel young.
I'm sure their boss knows what they're doing and would've said something if it were interfering.
I think it's funny when grown people, like yourself, act like they're in middle school and like drama.
