My husband had surgery under him 12 years ago....My nephew had a surgery performed by him about 5 years later. And then my daughter just had her tonsils and adnoids removed by Dr Woods a couple of months ago. He is a great DR!!!

I saw him once and he never gave me any advice or resolution to the problem that I still have to this day. If its complex I doubt he could help. I was a patient of Dr Frank Jenkins since childhood.

I've heard that he makes all his employees recommend him. His receptionist in Somerset is obviously not the sharpest knife in the drawer, if you get my drift. I wouldn't hire her to rake leaves.

She skulks around him like a whipped dog.

Sounds like he's always ready to operate.

How long ago was this anyway? Cause it sounds like he may be having some problems nowadays.

This is the perfect place to ask a question like this. You can tell the truth with no repercussions. He's a judgmental asshole that's for sure. He degrades women and treats you like shit if you're on Medicaid. U up top are right. He's definitely quick to operate cause that's the only way he can stay in business. My aunt went to see him and he literally banged his head on the wall and called her stupid. We will never step foot back in that office. And as if the behavior isn't bad enough the list if hippa violations should be enough to shut him down.

He was abusive to me and I have insurance. Both he and his receptionist acted like they had never seen Anthem Blue Cross. Probably hadn't. Its just the largest carrier in the State. Got all in a tizzy over "why someone like me had such good insurance". Kept sneering this over and over along with a bunch of nasty and demeaning comments I won't repeat. Guess he wanted to establish that I was a "nobody" he could abuse with impunity.

They called Anthem and were told I didn't have a co-pay and that got them all tingly. The joke's on him, I have a huge deductable. Basically, I have an all pay, barring a disaster. I am not going to pay him a dime and am ready to tell the world why. I'm old and I have great credit, it can take a hit if he dares try to collect after the letter I sent him.

Its the principal, the money won't hurt him. The A--hole gets about 10,0000 a pop putting tubes in and taking tonsils out of kids, paid for by our tax dollars. Big Medicaid provider.

I sent him a certified letter revoking his right to acess or diseminate any and all information (medical or other wise) with an enclosure describing HIPPA requirements. Plus some other specially tailored advisements.

The joke is on him. I know lots of people and I've talked to a bunch of them about him. Eventually, people are going to wise up to what kind of person he is. When he eventually gets sued for screwing up, which is inevitable, I'll gladly volunteer to testify about his proclivities.

He picked the wrong person for his nasty little game. Goes to show his judgement is slipping. Probably his nastiness is supposed to be a cover-up for his obviously loosing it. Isn't working.

I agree 100%. In office hippa is a joke. When he is in one of his moods and ravages a patient over whatever it is he has chosen to harp on that day everyone in the office can hear it. I had never been so embarrassed in my life because it wasn't just him and his staff but all of the other patients in the office were staring at me when I left as well.

Someone needs to step up and put this asshole in retirement where he belongs. I don't care what kind of doctor you are or how long you've been practicing, Nothing gives him the right to force his personal beliefs on others and then embarrass, harass and abuse them for defending themselves. At his age with his anger issues I'm surprised he hasn't killed someone yet. He is a disgrace to the medical community and needs to put his stethoscope down.

Our tax dollars (Medicaid) pay for him to run little kids thru on his lil assembly line and pay 10,000$ a pop for surgeries. They probably go home to a house full of smoke, which nobody even bothers to ask about and so they stay sick. Who cares if he gets paid, right?

Then, their infections just shift to a new locus. They've suffered thru the pain and trauma for nothing.

Talk about a waste of our tax dollars.

All that Medicaid money and he can just sit back and enjoy his hobby of abusing people. I suspect he saves his "special treatment" for women. He asks you all these strange personal questions and ridicules and sneers at your perfectly normal answers. He also rants and raves about irrelevancies like about how the hospital in Somerset has hired an ENT surgeon and is interviewing another and hiring Pediatricians who won't be sending this creep patients. Like its your fault his business is dropping off instead of his own fault.

People like him are what is wrong medical care with this country. The sooner he retires the better, the greedy senile weirdo.

He is obviously badly impaired and his sick mental health may just be the tip of the iceberg. In the middle of the ranting, he handed me a script for a drug I'd just told him I previously had a bad reaction to. He is obviously more interested in indulging his sick proclivities than paying attention. I am telling everyone I know to beware.

Which office do you work in, Lexington or Somerset? He has to run 2 offices to scoop up all that Medicaid.

Or it is your relative that works for him and alibis his behavior?

After I was alone with this ranting creep, his receptionist wouldn't even look me in the eye. She kept saying you're done, just go over and over while she cringed listening for her master's voice. Like she was afraid to even speak to me after I'd been selected for the "special treatment"
