Just wanted to thank mrs putty for this great hire. I hope the boy scouts was worth our lack of leadership in another one of our schools. The teachers that helped with this hiring I hope your year is a living hell. Because you all were not thinking of our kids only about your personal gain. Thanks for letting our kids down once again....

Ouch. Hiring for a school is such an impossible task. You are stuck with whoever is hired for at least a year. Who can tell from interviews who will be best? I don't know anything about this situation, but despite the fact, it's not helpful to post it on this site. It's lowdown and rude. It says more about you than it does about the person you are dissing.

Well, how about be a parent, and take your kid hiking & teach them to tie knots and go fishing yourself! The boy scout leaders really don't know what they are doing any way. The local chapter is a joke & not worth the time or money. Also, remember you can open enroll your child to another school! But, that would mean you can't rely on the bus, huh, you could not sleep in all day because you would actually have to get up & drive your child to and from school, huh? Get over it, or how about be a volunteer there! You can be a part of the problem or part of the solution :) I would like to thank the teachers of Garth for all they do with the lack of help & volunteers.

No the facts first... Mrs putty and her site base hired a principle not from a interview but a Skype one at that. The principle husband is a big wig in the boys scouts so that was a plus for our supeeeeeer leader of education, not the qualification of this principle. Now all the teachers that hired her have found out how bad they messed up, and how they let there school and the rest of there fellow educators down. But the sad thing is how we allow these people site base, and so on to be in a leadership role in education, when they can't even make a smart decision for our kids. One good thing that comes out of this when the board of education final fires her, the Boy Scouts will give her a job? Then possible she give herself another raise as well!!!!

How dare you wish the teachers of Garth a year of Hell! Mrs. Putty's mistakes are NOT their fault. Do you think the teachers of Garth got a big raise, NO. Do you think they even have more than one teacher per class as most elementary schools do, NO. Have you forgot these teachers take care of, teach, and love your children? Why wish the Hell on them? I hope Tom Jr. does not have your attitude! Instead of using topix how about writing Mrs. Putty a personal letter. Go to a board meeting & find out who you can talk to to make a change.
In the meantime; Don't forget to use your Chic-Fil-A vouchers & support Garth this week by eating there! Send in your box tops!

I feel bad for the new principal lady for taking this job! She's not a local, so that's a good thing. I just don't think she knew what she was getting into. Mrs. Putty deserves prison time and should have to repay what she has taken, just like Richie Farmer. Taking from the educational department or misuse of funds for personal gain is worse than Farmer's misuse from the agriculture department.

Why would Scott County care about her husband's connections with Boy Scouts? Who cares? How does that play into it? Explain please.(or shut up).

"Why AREN'T there any art classes or art instructors"?

A true sign of intelligence is having a basic understanding of the English language.

Actually, either way is correct.

I'm still seeing no answer to my question. Who cares about Boy Scouts? Why does someone say her hiring mattered to Putty b/c of Boy Scouts. Is this just another case of "blah blah blah" when they really have nothing to say?

Ok. Let's hear some facts of how & why you think Garth is such a fine school, BMT! Your opinion has NOTHING to do with any of the above questions and facts.

They did have a art class, then the next year they took art out because I guess they needed another teacher.

Bryan Blankenship the best principal in Scott County? Now I've heard it all. That guy couldn't carry Dwayne Ellison's jock strap! Hell I'm not sure if he could carry Annette Williams jock strap. Blankenship didn't hurt my feelings but I stand by what I told him the first time and that is my boy will kick that honor students ass.

Mr. Ox, you make no sense. What honor student are you referring to? I think your baby probably had a call made on him that you didn't agree with. Who is Annette Williams?
