Absolutely not.
I clearly remember going to High School with Ryan Quarles. He and many of his friends made a habit of calling me a "fa**ot", "c*ck sucker", etc. every day of my life.
One of the many people who made my experience living in Georgetown an utter nightmare and now he REPRESENTS the city in our state government?
He is not someone that represents me, at all. No matter my beliefs, I don't think anyone that treated other people with such disrespect should be in our state government.

Well, since there are two sides to every story, I'll take yours with a grain of salt. Always living in the past Josh. Everybody gets harassed or bullied growing up at some time. Your time is no more special than anyone else's. Move on and do something to contribute to society.

Just because someone doesn't forget things doesn't mean they're "living in the past".

I wouldn't disagree that everyone gets harassed and bullied but it's very doubtful that it escalates into death threats, physical assault and continues for 4+ years, every single day of that person's life.

I wasn't claiming what I experience to be "more special" than anyone else's, but it was certainly more extreme than what most people experience growing up. It was far more than just name-calling; that stuff rolls off my back. Calling me a faggot is something I've dealt with since I was in 3rd grade. If that's all someone can come up with to call me, that just shows their lack of creativity and intelligence.:P

As for "moving on and contributing to society", I find it interesting that you know nothing about me but assume I haven't done just that. I've done just that; I don't live in the past. I donate a lot my time to local youth organizations, political campaigns, etc.

I appreciate your interest in my life though.

That's.... surprising. I went to high school with Ryan too, and he was kind to everyone, as far as I saw. We certainly weren't in the same social circles, either.

If you live in Richmond you can't vote for Ryan Quarles, because you don't live in his district. The jokes on you!
