Get used to the idea of quitting. In the committee discussions of the FDA authorization to regulate tobacco products, it was made pretty clear that the prospect of 40 million addicts in simultaneous withdrawals was the main thing forestalling complete proscription of smoking.
That addiction may soon be fully treatable, and the number of addicts remaining once choice truly becomes relevant will not pose such a threat to society.
All the various piecemeal bans in the meantime are just efforts to minimize the damage you and yours do while we wait for the "all clear".
