x Officer Frank Bueno is a crook, throw him in jail and lose the key, he will never pay anyone back. Is that even a real name? Is he even a legal citizen? His wife had to know he did not make enough money to afford a home worth $440,+ come on now, she was a dispatcher and he was a policeman. Real Police men and women actually serve the community for little money. They are true heros and any of them would smell a rat like this. Who covered for these people? You just gotta ask that question. Why was he given so many breaks the average thief would have been jailed by now.

This reminds me of the Official Inquiry into the Stalking Interns for Sex. No wrong was seen by anyone or rather done. Come on not the slightest interest/couriousity was sparked in very odd circumstances... someone needs to have some sence of right and balance. Alarms should have gone off in both cases.

I am a victim of this Frank Bueno and he is a huge liar! His name is correct (we checked into this :) He just took advantage of anyone vulnerable (people who believe in people). He preys on you like a wolf in sheep's clothing. He gets you to trust him and then nothing ever makes sense again after you give him money. He has ruined the life of vulnerable women too...women who were looking for love and a life with someone. He is a slime ball and I hope more people come forward so he spends more time in prison. If you're out there, come forward...stop being embarrasses by trusting someone. However, you need to step forward and prevent this from happening to other people. Once he gets out, he'll rip others off again and again.

Not sure why, just look at his picture sometime...but apparently he promises them a life of bliss...obviously, nothing ever comes of his promises. Anyway, i agree with you! Throw away the key!!!

One more thing (for today anyway)...the police officers and detectives who worked with us were wonderful! They are the real heros and they were embarrassed and mad that a scumbag like this ever wore a uniform....just fyi

The women he conned must have been desperate to believe. I personally know him and his family and never believed any on the things he said regarding the cons. Oh, and yes he is legal just as you. Just because he has a Hispanic surname doesn’t make him an immigrant.dah

Yeah, They might have been desperate like you say but is it right what he did? A few women have been shattered by him and what about his wife? Does she know he is out sleeping around, convincing women to "invest" in his schemes?

As far as being legal, he is but down here you never know...BUT I know several "illegals" and they aren't out ripping people off so that has nothing to do with anything.

No I am not a con, and I never bought into the bs. Instead we asked educated questions about what he was doing which he was never really to come up with anything. As far as his wife, i think she knew something, but didnt want to face it or break up the family. Come on when do you just hand over your money to someone without checking him out.
Where was the proof that he could do what he said. There is responsibility on both sides. What he did was wrong and he will pay the pricem as will his family and his victims. It's unfortunate all away around.

He used his children and religion to gain trust in people...people thought he was a nice christian man who was left by his "alcoholic" unstable wife (this is how he spoke about Sandra to everyone). He also claimes to be a lawyer, private investigator, real estate agent, investor, and God only knows what else...there was no reason to doubt someone's profession. Anyway, it's sad that you have to do a complete background check on people these days...but i agree with you, trust will not be easy for any of his victims (and there are many). I know that for myself, this was a huge lesson for me-not a good one in human decency though.

Go Figure-another thing is that it might be easier for you, knowing him and his family, to realize he was full of b.s. For someone who never met him before this would not be easy to see right away...this guy has an answer for everything-hind sight is 20/20 for all of us. The whole point here is that this guy is a crook. His fault, no one else's. You can't blame people who put their trust in someone. You think educated people just handed money over to him? That's not really how it went, that's why he is in prison. People had proof of what he promised...people put their faith in him but also had concrete evidence/proof...that's why he is in prison. He will most likely end up with a lot more than 4 years too...there are other crimes that he will have to pay for.

what proof did you have that supported what he told you. And other than the fact there are probably many more victims of the same crime, what other crimes will he pay for. I just cant understand why someone would hand over hard earned money by placing faith into some you really hadnt know for very long.

Go ahead and keep blaming innocent hard working people. Someday maybe you will get ripped off and we can all blame you...or maybe your kids will be victims or your mother/father, then, maybe you will understand that the victims are NOT to blame. Do you really think I would give you any more info? You will see for yourself since you're such good friends with this man...rest assured, his crimes are NOT the same and he will be spending more time in the slammer. He has more victims than in these articles and people are coming forward. He even ripped off a chief of police...i bet that wasn't his fault either, probably the chief's!

Go Figure-it DOES figure, you are one of his sisters...well, it would be pretty easy for YOU to FIGURE out that Frank is a liar (you're a genius), you were raised with him. He has told us all so much about you all...oh, by the way, your mom died. I know she didn't really but what kind of human being tells people his mom died? He also had you working for him ( at his law firm) but he had to fire you for being late all the time. Oh and his son, was his nephew...we know it's his son now...we know everything about this guy now...but for over a year, he played on people's goodness and kind spirit. Did you know he even took his own kids to meet the women he told he was going to marry? What he told the kids, I don't know but your brother is a slime ball. Oh and as far as the rest of us are concerned, we do have nice decent jobs and we'll be fine. We ALL want to warn people (so they have the knowledge) that there are con men are out there...and they will say ANYTHING to get your trust. Fortunately, in our lives we have only met one con man (Frank Bueno) so that's lucky. Be assured, it won't happen to any of us again.

I am not franks sister and havent seen him or his immediate family in over 4 years do to his actions. Actually I dont even know if I have met all his sisters. I am an in law by marriage, just as was he. He tried to pull the same scam on family member some bought most didnt. I am not blaming vicitms but trying to understand how someone could fall to such a scam. How could you beleive the things he said without proof. Did you go to his law firm? Did the kids acknowledge the death of the grandmother or mother. I just appears that this man walked into your life and you didnt question anything. I understand you are a victim and I do not agree with anything he has done, and I know that there are others. Some who will probably never come forward because of family relations and some that may as they have no obligation. In all we are all adults and make our own decisions. However, the kids will be the ones to suffer through all of this as they had no choice.

His kids will suffer more by him raising them...maybe now they will have a chance at a normal, decent future (if they decide to work for it). It's up to their mother to help them grow up to be decent law abiding citizens.

Go Figure-Yes, he used a law firm (that he was a secretary for) as his way to get people to believe he was a lawyer. He used his kids to lure in parents (friends of his kids) to invest in his schemes...he used women from match.com to fall in love with a "divorced father of two" who was a "private investigator." The guy had ways of using people to help his schemes work...now, should any of us have fallen for it...no. Had we known he was a high school graduate with a felony record, we would have approached things differently. Let me tell you though, he didn't walk into court and admit his guilt because he had a change in heart. He plead guilty because of the evidence, paper trail, phone records, emails, etc and the many witnesses. The guy is only sorry he got caught. You're smart not to have anything more to do with him. If his kids are smart, they'll dis-own him too. He used them just like he does everyone else.
