We cannot support either ticket due to their abuse of animals. Specifically, canines. Romney's Seamus Incident and Obama's diet of dogs in Kenya and Indonesia.

Adolf Hitler never did anything so horrible to animals.

if the republicans are smart, they will use the romney defeat to purge the lunatics from their party.
they tried to do that with perry and bachmann (show the rabid right that those candidates are too extreme) but the lunatics are not listening.
i think they tried and found out that rational approaches to winning elections are being thwarted by the so called tea party and the loudmouth talking heads.
it may take several elections for them to get back to sanity.
you see the insanity here every day.
i would like to pity them but they deserve everything they get.
I was hoping that if they nominated Newt or one of the other rightwing extremists, they're defeat in November might give the party pause to consider that maybe extreme conservative lunacy ISN'T what the country wants.

Romney's defeat will just make them say the same thing they said after McCain's defeat - he wasn't a REAL conservative.

Obama didn't have a "diet of dogs." As a child he ate what was served to him. He's no more responsible for that than you were for your mother feeding you lima beans or liver.

When you can give a plausible path to 270 electoral voted for Romney, then we'll listen to your rantings. Until then you're just crowing about meaningless polls.

that drone probably saved the lives of those who were arrested.
sounds like good thinking by the police.
Sounds like they are using this example to get the civil rights sacrificing American public on board with drones. At least in this case they had a search warrant.

I have a problem with the Air Force using drones against the American public on American soil. A clear violation of The Posse Comitatus Act. It has been announced already.

and non military drones are being used for quite some time in drug interdiction.
unless your saying using a drone for drug interdiction and illegals crossing our borders is a bad idea.
so the objection you raise has no real merit.
there is no real difference from a drone or a aircraft or helicopter except in the cost of operation.
the courts have ruled on aircraft being used,it is quite legal.

Polls: Obama leads Romney in Florida, Ohio and Virginia
May 24, 2012

President Barack Obama leads Mitt Romney in Florida, Ohio and Virginia, according to new polls of the key 2012 swing states, although Obama's advantage has narrowed in recent months.

Obama has inched ahead of Romney 48 percent to 44 percent in both Florida and Virginia, according to three new NBC News/Marist polls. In Ohio, the president has a 6-point advantage over Romney, leading his Republican rival 48 percent to 42 percent among registered voters in the state

Obama losing face with the Dems!

President Obama is virtually guaranteed to win the party's nomination again, but some Democratic voters across the country haven't been sold on picking Obama – even when they don’t have a second choice.

Roughly 13 percent of Democratic primary voters so far have chosen not to pick Obama, with seven more primaries remaining leading up to the party’s national convention in September in North Carolina.

But several recent primaries in conservative states ended with surprising results – particularly Kentucky. Roughly 42 percent of Kentuckians on Tuesday picked “uncommitted” instead of voting for Obama to seek a second term.

That same day, outsider Democratic candidate John Wolfe Jr. won 42 percent of the vote in the Arkansas primary.

“I think it was a good showing,” he told FoxNews.com the next day, adding that the Arkansas results and getting roughly 12 percent of the vote in the Louisiana primary have bolstered his hopes for the Texas primary on Tuesday.

Perhaps more embarrassing for Obama was federal inmate Keith Judd winning 41 percent of the vote in the West Virginia Democratic primary May 8.

Even so, an overwhelming majority of voters in the Democratic primaries so far have cast ballots for Obama: 4.5 million of the roughly 5.2 million primary voters, or 86 percent.

The number voting “no preference” was roughly 4 percent,“uncommitted” was 3.84 percent, for Wolfe was 1.68 percent and for Judd was 1.39 percent.

“We look at this as a sign that there are conservative-minded Democrats who gave the president a chance in 2008 but are now disappointed with the results," Republican National Committee press secretary Kirsten Kukowski said Thursday evening.“They look at the jobs he promised to create but didn’t, the debt he promised to cut but didn’t and the promise he made to change Washington but didn’t.”

Kukowski said the recent voting results indicate a problem for the Obama campaign during the national election, particularly in battleground and coal country states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia, and in North Carolina where voters still appear to be making up their mind.

The Democratic National Committees declined to comment for the story.

Wolfe thinks the larger question is largely about why Washington Democrats have cleared a path to victory for the president.

“They are so aligned with him that they are not looking at things that are important,” he said.

Robme shuts down steel mills and makes millions......

Mitt Romney's Bain Capital invested in "failing, cash-strapped" companies as some sort of noble effort to save them. That's not how arbitrageurs like Romney work.

Bain looked for "cash cows," companies that were profitable and had reasonably good cash flows. The key was they were paying pretty much standard tax rates. By borrowing large sums of money in the company's name (used to pay off Bain's investment), Bain was able to use tax deductions to reduce the company's rate to near zero, without killing the cash flow. Bain and its investors pocketed the 30 percent or so the company would have been paying.

If the massive debt caused the company to go under, as it did in about half the cases, it cost Bain nothing because it had gotten its investment out early. If the company survived, Bain sold it, making additional profits, and paying only a 15 percent capital gains tax on those profits.

Romney's company used taxpayer money to purchase solid, albeit slow-growing, companies, plunged them deeply into debt and then profited on the misery this debt caused for the workers who lost their jobs and benefits when the businesses went broke.

Maybe that's just capitalism. But in my view, it is a greedy, rapacious form of capitalism that places profit above humanity.

“This applies to any business in America today. Yes occasionally employees are hurt in the process but in most instances the jobs are saved.”
You paint a picture that is very distorted, as Mitt Romney Knew when he invested in those Corporations there was no way he and his Bain Capital, could lose any money, otherwise they wouldn’t have invested their Money in those Corporations, if they didn’t KNOW they were going to Suck the Life Blood from those Corporations and then RAID the Highly Funded Pension Funds of those Corporations, they knew they weren’t gambling, as it was a sure thing, they were going to ENRICH themselves on the backs of the People who created the Wealth for those Corporations, and then allow the TAX PAYERS of the United States pay the Pension Claims from the U. S. Treasury, how could they LOSE?
