AS a resident and taxpayer of Lewistown, we can not afford to allow our "native son" Felmlee to represent us in Harrisburg. When he wasn't too busy with the State Assoc of Boroughs and when his health was good enough to attend, or he wasn't otherwise occupied and did show up for Borough Council meetings (Where is President), he never gave an opinion until he knew what the outcome of the discussion would be. Only after the wind is clearly in one direction or the other, does he vote. The latest example was the recent vote to raise our property taxes by 16%. The vote was 3-3 when it got to Council President Felmlee. Jim went his friends on the Berrier gang, Now, we are paying more rather than the Borough living within its means. That means you and I have to stretch our income to meet his spending. Not the type of person I want representing me.

Vote James Knepp

I agree with you on Felmlee, he can't make a real decision most times. However, our current representative rarely visits Mifflin County, unless there is a photo opportunity.

The fact that Harris has GOT TO GO is a given. Even for a photo op, he is hard to find. He used to send his lackey, Nick Soccio. Now, no one shows up for him. I have seen more of Benninghoff that I ever saw Harris. Even Mike Fleck was more visible.

Vote KNEPP for Rep.

Don't know much about Knepp, only what I read in the Sentinel. From what I do know about Harris and Felmlee, Knepp is only the choice. Both Harris and Felmlee are never around when the heavy lifting needs to be done. Harris isn't even around to get his picture in the paper. Snyder county paper had it right when they called Harris a "Ghost Representative." Maybe that's the model that Felmlee used.

Yep, Felmlee needs to go. I'm so tired of seeing him parade around this county like he is so better than everyone else. Vote Knepp......I know I will.......

Driving home on the by-pass last evening, I saw the huge full color Felmlee sign on the side of the house. WOW, Felmlee sure is full of himself. There was an interesting article in the Sunbury Daily Item yesterday. It asked Felmlee and Knepp why they were running against Harris. Answers tell alot about both men. Knepp wants to help the average person. Felmlee says he has years of experience with state government and needs no training. He's done so well with the Borough that they needed him to cast the deciding vote and raise property taxes 16%. Is that the kind of experience we want in Harrisburg?

Anyone else attend the Measure the Candidates out at the Mifflin County Taj Mahal last week? Thought Felmlee stumbled quite a bit on his answers. Not quite as polished since he didn't know what the people there would want to hear. Just like normal, wishy washy until the very end. Thoughts or opinions? Only a week to go.

We need to take corruption and unfaithful people out of these offices. If you can't be faithful to your wife how and the Hell can you run any of these offices properly. Felmlee needs to get a grip on this concept. Vote Knepp, he is in touch with working people. Losing Lewistown is a prime example of Felmlees wrong doings.

The votes are in and it looks like the election is over. Harris stays in Harrisburg and we have another 2 years until we see or hear from him again.

I've heard the same thing. Maybe his fiancee lives there. Bet he still collects his per diem for meals, travel, etc though.

At least we were not stuck with Felmlee. Maybe he'll dry up and blow away now.

Agree with the above poster, Knepp is nuts. Knew him back when he was a part-time bounty hunter, of all things. Classic little man overcompensating for lack of stature by talking and acting tough. This cat belongs in a rubber room, or maybe a jail cell if he drifts too far out of compliance. Perhaps the years and added girth have mellowed Jim somewhat. One can only hope.

The best of a bad lot won- Adam Harris- a.k.a. The Payjacker.

looks like no representation again. Gayle's boy is a career politician. He's never held a job.
