It's only a few days into the new direction, these cases were probably already started in progress when the new DA got them. You sound like the caller in the openline that said the ex-football coach shouldn't have been charged for breaking the law because he forgot. The new direction says they charge someone if they break the law not because of who they are. Looks like the new DA is going to do things correct. Now today since the DA is the chief law inforcement officer, he needs to go to the police and let them know that if we are going to allow teenagers to drive they need to be responsible, and when they are in an accident, they are not exempt from having their name listed as involved because of their age. I think you can go to any news website and see for yourself that this is not the policy any where except Mifflin County. This is another example that the DA must get on top of if this County is going to be different under the new DA. Time for change, REAL CHANGE NOT OBAMA CHANGE.

Molek was a lame duck the moment he was sworn in ... he's cashing his pay check and watching the days pass for the next four years. Mifflin County deserves Dave Molek !

Meanwhile Jeff Snook has landed a gig where he will make twice as much money, and he will no longer need to deal with political BS from the moronic yocals.

What the heck are you talking about? If it is the guy that is going to defend disability and SSI people, maybe you are talking about Steve Snook and he probably won't make the $163,000 he made as DA.

It is Steve not Jeff ! And one of Mr. Molek's plea bargain was an ARD for a repeat DUI offended, have to look at some of Dave's old campaign ads and flyers.

I thought Milroy was just blowing out hot air and didn't know what he was talking about, he should not even be in the conversation if that is all he has and not even the correct name.

You are perfect.

Well, not quite. My 11th grade English teacher would have burned you for writing a runon sentence like yours.

I'll give you a pass if you accept my admission that I mixed up the first name of 2 prominent local Attorney Snooks. I absolutely know the difference.

STEVE Snook - the former DA, has landed on his feet and will no doubt do quite well without being beholding to the whims of the Mifflin County electorate.

But hey things are going to get better now.

Yep. And he said he is spending a lot of time getting up to speed (i.e., on the job training)on the case backlog.

At least he had the sense to keep most of the staff.

Regardless if he does nothing in the next 4 years, he broke the eighteen year monopoly in the Mifflin County Justice system, now it will be open for change..

I don't know if it was sense to keep most of the staff, I can think of a few that should have been made to walk but oh well at least we have a DA that doesn't concentrate on witch hunts and personal vendettas.

How many cases have been plea bargained? He said he would not take any. Concerned, he lied.

Molek's first day on the job was his last ! He's cashing a pay check and counting the days until retirement. Court house staffers laugh at how he keeps his door closed reading criminal law books all day.
