LOID reports rainfall still below normal
By Sandra L. Lee, of the Tribune Recent rainfall didn't add much to the Lewiston Orchards Irrigation District reservoirs, but it did help saturate the ground so more runoff can be captured next spring.

LOID has a real game going--you pay for the water whether you use it or not.(Somone had evidently paid close attention to what Karl Marx wrote.)
So...keep your water running, folks. No matter how much or how little rain or snow-melt there is, LOID tells us if and when we can use it.

I think that LOID needs to do somthing about people that water on the sidwake and st. it is not save for are kids that walk to school in the moring and afternoon to walk on the st because the sidwake is geting water and they can not wake safe home. There need to be somthing done to all people that block the sidwaks for kids and ever one to walk on. 737 8th and Brull keep my kid from waking on the sidwalk when the water and there bush two is over the sidwalk. Thank you I hope you do somthing.
