I didn't want to say this, but I feel you are forcing me to. If you are actually concerned about the Food and Friends waitress ripping you off, you probably shouldn't be eating there in the first place. Sorry.
Are you Liberals that voted Obama, Gonna cry when restaurants add that surcharge on your bill for Obama care?.. or just suck it up like

Regardless of service, 10%-15% tip rate is the going rate in rural areas. This is a poor rural county in a poor state. Consider yourself extremely lucky to get a 15% tip. If you don't like it, I guess you go job hunting.
Cheap skate! You want to sit on your azz and be served like you are a king or Queen and act like you are a rich big shot by eating out a lot then tip! Most servers are paid 2.00$ an hour + tips are suppose to make up the rest & the 2.00$ an hour goes to pay the tax on the tips! So if it hurts you so much to tip cheep skate then you need to go hunting for a better paying job or stay at home and open you a can of walmart brand pork & beans..

Also did you know that the same ones serving you stay after closing and clean that whole place you just got through helping to dirty up? Use the restroom while you were there? They clean that also and all for that 2.00$ an hour that goes for tax on what tips they do get.

Great poin.....
You say you agree with his/her point. If he/she liked doing what they do, they would not be on here complaining about juggling tables, thankless job comments. Say you like being around people, it sure does not sound like it.

You don't knopw me well enough or at all, thank God, to say I don't like being around people. I waitressed for 30 years, juggling tables and getting thankless comments from people who don't know and appreciate the job that people are doing for them. But, just like every other job out there, including yours if you have one, there are the good people and then there are the people who only want to lord it over you that you are serving them and their wishes while they are there. You can tell the ones who are unappreciative the minute they sit down. But, in 30 years, I have met more nice people than the other. And, in telling of how I have to clean up the tables, including underneath the tables of the food, crayons, paper, wet-naps, etc., I was trying to let you and others know it is not a job of just throwing food out and collecting my tip. It entails a WHOLE lot of other duties you don't see us doing. Yes, walk a mile in my shoes and then you might be ready to talk to me and other servers who do this job as a way to keep my family going without relying on assistance and food stamps. At least I can do this job proudly and hold my head up high.

The owner just fired another waitress who had been with the restaurant for decades (at the original location). She was treated terribly over the last several months in an attempt to cause her to quit. When it was clear that she was going to stick it out, he fired her. A crying shame.

I'd rather not use her name on here. Ask any of the other employees, except perhaps the owner, and I'm certain they would tell you. Something is very, very wrong there.
