I was REALLY hoping that somebody would open another sit-down restaurant around here. Bob Evans and Shoneys are not going to cut it. So much more we can do in this community. The Sweet Frog will be good. The new cinema 8 opening beside the new Lewisburg Baptist Church is going to be a HUGE success. Rumors flying that the large area behind Magic Mart and Kroger is going to be used for commercial use. Rumors about a Red Lobster and a Dunkin Donuts are around. Lake Lewisburg would be a great tourist attraction. Fun times in Lewisburg and Fairlea.

I love how this area is growing. I haven't heard of a Red Lobster coming, and I would be surprised if it came here, but bring it!
I did hear a rumor about a dunkin donuts. but I also question if that's correct because i thought DD filed bankruptcy during the recession.
Does anybody know how long it will take to before the theatre is open?
oh yeah, and I am not a fan of Lake Lewisburg. we tout ourselves as being Historic. nothing historic about a man made lake.

If you look at the franchise small print for a lot of large chain restaurants our area will not qualify due to population within a certain radius.

It probably will be Beckley or Princeton getting those restaurants. LB isn't populated enough.

Who would want to sit down and eat with a bunch of inbred hillbillies? The faster the food comes out the window the faster they can get back to the trailerpark and bang their kin! A KFC would be nice.

Must be talking about yourself, otherwise you would be able to post something intelligent without the crap!!!!! We do have a few intelligent people around here, not many mind you, but a few who would know how to act in a good restaurant.

Everybody should try Wild Bill's Steak House...aka The Clover Club. It's been cleaned up and looks really nice. The menu looks great!!! Check it out if you want something new!!!

The US is now a "service type economy". So most new jobs will be at places such as restaurants. That is now considered growth.. Bring on the restaurants. We need the jobs.

Wild Bill's we loved! Steakhouse atmosphere, not the bar scene it once was. Great menu
