March concern

I am employeed at wvsom and have seen my fair share of staff that recieve a paycheck for doing nothing and in most cases I am the employee that does the work however when I found out that the President was using funds, staff and resources to fund his private PBS childrens show and understand this has been going on for some time...Well when is enough and when will this fleecing stop? I work here only because I need to and tried other employment but this place

You can go to upper management if you think this isn't suppose to be going on but make sure that it hasn't been approved by someone. You will be protected by the whistle blower act. Google it.

He should put as much effort in to running the school as he does with his ventriloquism and so called magic acts. He is no Dr. O. Jones I can assure you of that. Dr. O. Jones lived and breathed for WVSOM. The school is a direct result of Dr. Jones and all he did for it while he was there. If this is true it will come out.

Unreal, you have someone of this caliber - with absolutely the schools best interest at heart and you start a head hunt like this? Unreal! It is no wonder the rest of the world hates americans, its cry babies like you that give the rest of us a bad name! I do not work for the school, but I do know enough to say that you have a President of integrity at the helm. Have a problem, why not go ask him yourself?

I am a salesperson trying to get WVSOM to purchase from my company. Name brand products...(what they currently use), at a much discounted price, but they continue to ignore the request for a meeting. They told me they already had vendors they purchased from, even though on state contract our prices were lower.

YES, WVSOM wastes money!

What's worse than that is the way some ppl are treated and others ignored. I know a lady that lied about having a degree but didn't get fired, got a freaking raise!! I know a lady that worked her butt off to get a Masters Degree only to be turned down for a pay raise and be turned down for jobs she was well qualified for. This place needs a clean up from a non-biased company and start over. Top to bottom. They have great ppl working hard and bad ppl hardly working. Guess who gets paid...

Applied for several positions told by Human Resource Director to qualified and probably wouldn't be able to pay enough. This is another way of telling highly qualified applicants that they are threatened by to hit the road Jack. Anyone that applies who is not subservient to LB will never be considered for a job there. The HR Dept is the problem and without change WVSOM will never be able to hire the best. There are many qualified people in this area that would work there and make a Hell of a Contribution if allowed by LB even with the lower pay scale.

How can ask someone something when they are to busy whey their hand up a puppets ass. President of integrity wtfe he uses school funds not to mention employees to run his little PBS show. He plays this game of everyone there are family and his door is always open for anyone that has an issue or just wants to chat that's bull. He doesn't even know half the people that have worked there for 15 plus years by name. He doesn't think for himself or how his employees feel or what they are going through. He lets the HR director do a lot of his thinking for him.
