He saved my son's life years ago, so I applaud him as a physician. His bedside manner left a little to be desired though. He was pretty gruff...but he did know pediatrics!

Smart man, found several problems of my childrens. Sure wish he was still in practice. Yes he was gruff, if he told you the best thing to do for your sick child......he expected you to listen. We sure need someone like him around here now........

Ednacot always talked down to parents and sometimes patients. Depending on the child's age. He put a young child on the drug Slobid. The parents decided to take the child to an allergist in another state and the doctor was shocked that Ednacot had put a young child on Slobid. Anyone remember when he taught golf at the country club? Taught young kids. Believe me, he was just as big of an ass on the golf course as he was in his office. What an EGO!

slobid is a drug used to treat asthma. It was used back in the day and is very mild in its treatment probably due to your age. The purpose of slobid was to help you hopefully outgrow your asthmatic symptoms. Specialists usually do the "I can't believe" schtick because they want to scare the patient. Not all but some. Because guess what they scare you in to using something more expensive or something experimental that the pharmaceutical companies are prodding the doctor to use because of the kickbacks to the specialists.
