AJ Medical Services has recently opened a clinic in Petersburg, TN in addition to the Lewisburg and Chapel Hill clinics. What other services would you like to see offered by this hometown clinic and what are the chances that you will utilize this new location?

No chance as long as the Med Express is open on First Avenue. Try them and you will not go back to AJ's.
Quick and friendly treatment by clean cut professionals. Try them. I did and was in and out in less that thirty minutes.

I will not use them. The last time I went to AJ's (Lewisburg)I waited 6 hrs in the waiting room to see a Dr. For walk-in care go to the new Medical clinic by the police dept. They were nice and fast and very clean.

I have used AJ's several times without any problem. I didn't have to wait and was treated very nicely by everyone. I could use some cleaning but other than that, I was satisfied.
I would like to try the others also and see how they are. I go where I feel welcome and not RUSHED in and out like they are behind on there quota!

Every time I go there we are sent back to the room of the "forgotten". Then medical records are missing and history is mixed up. They have too, too many personnel turnovers there. Have I seen the same doctor or tech twice in a row??? No.

Went in once and they thought I was in for a scheduled mandatory "drug test" because our names were similar. I did say ((here)) after I thought I heard my name.(Tech was saying the name as she was turning the corner)
Talk about being treated like a 3rd rate person by the tech. Once I explained who I was and there was a mix up she started to regroup and treat me like an 2nd class citizen.
This would of not happened if she paid any type of attention when she demanded my drivers license to compare it to the medical records for a name match. She took 30 seconds doing it too. Was she taking a 30 second snooze?

I believe AJ Medical is looking for a new location in Lewisburg. The current location is small and is located in an odd area. Mr. James has big plans for AJ.

For those saying you will never go back, please don't give up on the clinic. The turnover is because TennCare doesn't reimburse near the amount private insurance does. It takes a special practioner or physician to take TennCare members. It is a HUGE risk, and AJs is taking a huge risk in expanding. AJ wants TennCare members and others to have the best care possible in Lewisburg and surrounding towns.

With a new location, Mr. James will be able to attract more practitioners and offer more services. The state is pushing for clinics to extend hours so that we can keep the ER open for real emergencies.

Med Express is a great clinic, but AJ will expand and become a better clinic in the near future.

Other things need to change. The staff complain too much for me to feel comfortable. They have doctor turnover too often for me to feel comfortable. I use them and have good insurance and am considering moving too. I don't think a new place will change the current staff members or maybe I my be asking too much for the area. They once had a young med tech who was from NYC or NJ. We liked him..he cared for those who cared for their health. He is long gone for some reason.

Too long of a wait and too many changes in staff. New provider at every visit and they do not have the time to review my chart.

Med Express on First Ave and the Medical Clinic of Lewisburg on East Commerce are much superior. Both are near downtown. No turnover in staff at these two and you see the same provider at each visit - which is a totally new concept to ex AJ patients.

What a joke. The office girl that works there on Sat sets the tempo. Her only concern was CMT was on TV. Nobody that worked Sat was pleasant and I am a pretty easy going guy. Maybe they are being pleasant in their own little way and we just do not see it.

They need to show a little respect to the customer and act like they are professionals. The blonde taking blood pressure acted pisssed off for some reason. Looked at her picture on her name tag and she was smiling big time. What a fake.
I was disappointed again and may call and speak with the owner. Maybe they need adult supervision.

I used to go to AJ's before MedExpress came. I was actually at AJ's one day (the first to arrive when they opened the door) when one of the nurses came to me in the waiting area and told me that the attending would not be in until after lunch. I had a problem that could not wait, so I had heard about MedExpress and went there. I have not insurance, because I was layed on this past year. They only charge $60 for a visit as apposed to $80 to $90 at others, and she always recommends ways for me to save on my prescriptions. I've been on numerous occasions since, I have never had to wait to see the attending practitioner for more than about 5 to 10 minutes. She listens intently and is very empathetic. All the employees there are exceptionally pleasant.
I will never spend another entire day in AJ's waiting area with other contagious patients again.
THANK YOU MED EXPRESS!!!

Maybe a clinic will open that DOES NOT accept TennCare. That's the one I'll go to.

Both places are needed. However, I do feel A.J.s needs to clean up his clincis act. I don't not go there anymore because of the sub level of service. Med Express is a great place and E.White has the expicnce to run a great office. She was a nurse for years here.....worked her way up and is the P.A. Where A.j. must hire his P.A.s to work for him. I hope he makes some changes and gets back on track..........because both places are needed!!! Good Luck to both place......Marshall county needs you!
