it is over priced for the shape its in and the fact that you have to get a new projector and you will have to restock it with cooking equipment and supplies and workers. that would put the new owner in at about 225000.00, there is no way this place will reopen, if it does it will close after the first summer due to not being able to pay for it. as far as it oping back up July 1st, that's on a Monday, so i doubt it will open that day. just another form of entertainment out the door, why could the city not help them, they help everyone else. maybe that funky a@# greg lowe can save the day, he claims he knows best for all.

I doubt it will open. The restrooms were about the nastiest restrooms I have ever seen. If that is the example of hygiene for the establishment, what does that say for the kitchen? Their last ditch effort was to force everyone to eat there if you wanted a meal or snack while there which was made evident with their no outside food or (maybe) drink rule. Maybe if they would of put an effort into the place instead of being concerned with grabbing every cent of profit, they could of made it. Just another example why we don't have much here.

Like all establishments; those who made it for any period of time depend on the local populist for support and standards they set. The locals dictate what level of cleanisness is acceptable. This could be another example of the area and their people.

stupid dumbsh!t.

The better idea is to revamp the entire place to a combination of businesses. You can have a low cost restaurant/bar/drive-in. During the day you can convert to an exercise/gym format. You make a nice place where you can get a nice meal, drink and watch a movie from inside (as adults) and let families watch as it as has been outside. After the movie, the adults who come for food and drink can continued drinking. Maybe offer some other adult entertainment after the movies. If I had the cash.... But several people in the community could get together and come up with the cash and make it a community investment project.

They need to stop thinking small town.. after the "Pick Up Man" and the "Footloose" video's, they should be marketing the Drive-in. We are close to Nashville and you can't get more Country and Old Sentimental feelings than a Drive In. Fix it up, market it, and it will bring in the cash. All they need is a good PR person and they wouldn't have to sell. Good for them and good for the economy here.

I am sorry but, all they needed to do was refurb the restrooms. No one with any sort of class would even consider coming back after seeing the disgusting filth displayed in the restrooms. Where was the health dept? They ran the joint on a string and sucked every penny they could from it without putting a cent back into it.
